Rockledge Country Club

I live in central Brevard county. I'm getting back into golf after a long break. I want to start taking my game seriously. I've been taking lessons, practicing regularly, and playing as much as I can. Recently, I won a raffle for a round at Roxkledge Country Club. Afterwards, I thought joining a club might be a great way meet other golfers and work on my game more regularly at a club near by. I'm going to play there sometime in the next few weeks. However, I cannot find much information on-line about this club. Has anyone played this course and can provide any insights?

I'm interested to hear more also. Looking to move to Brevard county next year maybe. Been looking a lot at Duran, Baytree & Suntree. Rockledge and Viera East seem maybe a bit too far north for me. Seems there could be one or two more courses in the area, surprised at the lack of public courses considering how littered the east coast of Florida is with golf courses.

I'm looking to join too, probably depends where I buy a house and if I can talk Suntree into a better deal than $800/M which seems really high. Duran & Baytree seem to be about $200/m each and add on for a cart. I could do those. Need to go and play them all and see which one I like best.

I like baytree the best if you throw out suntree. Baytree has good practice facilities and is a great test of golf normally in good condition. One drawback is that it gets really busy during the winter season. Members do get preferred times which makes huge difference. There is also a big money game called the shootout on Wednesdays which is alot of fun.

I haven't played Rockledge. I'll probably get out there sometime this summer.

Baytree is pretty solid although I would imagine it is usually super windy there.

Duran has the best facilities and really has people running the course that know what they are doing. I like the front 9 at Duran, but the back 9 does little for me.

I agree with you about Duran. I really like the course and like to get down to their practice facility as much as I can. I really wished they were just a little bit closer as they have what appears to be a pretty good summer membership.
