Everybody seems to like Baywood Greens, but that place can S my Bs. Stupid course. Stupid flowers. Stupid $30,000 gazebos sporadically around the course.

 

Lighthouse is OK. I like Bayside better, and it's a shorter drive for you.

 

Bear Trap is fine, other than their push cart policy.

No luck at TJ Maxx this afternoon, in fact there were no mens shoes at all.

 

I have to admit though the clientele of TJM > clientele of Ross in terms of attractiveness.

Twin Lakes and Penderton are here near me. The reviews for Penderton were terrible and Twin Lakes is about 18 minutes away. It was already 5:30 and it is ridiculously hot here. Guess I'm staying in and relaxing tonight. I might go to a range nearby.

Yup, looks very similar to the LC3. I think they've got plenty of spikes. Not sure how many they have compared to the lunar control.

Yup, looks very similar to the LC3. I think they've got plenty of spikes. Not sure how many they have compared to the lunar control.

Heat then a drill bit that is a bit smaller than the hosel bore. It will pop right out. If you don't have anyone that will do it for you, you can get it to me in some way and I'll do it for ya.

A couple of us on here are members there. One or more of us could probably get out with you sometime, but I'm also sure that they'll let you out for a practice round unaccompanied if you're playing a qualifier there. It's not super private or anything. More so just restricted access.

Are you saying that you discovered LAST NIGHT that ESPN is a huge knob polisher for Kobe and Manning, and this made you mad enough to delete ESPN from all your devices?

 

And it also seems implied that you're upset that PAYton has a large salary, and that Kobe is a "big moaner" when they've both actually been accused of sexual assault.

 

Wambach should have got up there and said, "I'm not really comfortable being around these two."

GTT: Hitting greens (distance control). When I played last weekend I felt like I was putting myself in good position off the tee most of the time (even if I missed the fairway) but then I would miss the green and take away the higher percentage chance at birdie (I did have a few great chips that almost went in). I feel confident enough in my putting that 85-90% of the time as long as I am on the green I can manage a 2-putt. Problem is my GIR % is at 24.1% and my last round was 22%. Part of it is just relearning distances (flew a green or two and came up just short on a few). I think if I can boost that 24% mark up I can get back to where I think I should be.

This year, I've -- at times -- driven the ball better than I ever have, putted better than I ever have, and I've put it together for a couple rounds but I haven't been consistent. I'm expecting that some time in July/August, I finally get it all together for 4-6 weeks like I've done the last couple years. I feel like I'm close.

 

I thought the 74/75 I put up earlier this year was going to be a harbinger of a strong season, and now I feel like I'm chasing something I had two months ago.

FWIW, I think your path just needs a tiny bit of tightening up, and you'll be off to the races. Seems like it's a hair too far right, which is making things very dependent on how well you control the clubface from shot to shot.

GTT: I feel like City. My driving has been solid overall this year but in various rounds I've had my irons, short game or putting be either great or terrible. I have had rounds where everything has been decent (LP round with Tex comes to mind) but haven't had one of those rounds this year where everything has been great.

 

I can see my iron game getting better the more I am trying to actually work the ball in one direction or another. Normally I'm just trying to smash a straight ball near the pin which leaves me no room for error either way and I've been missing a lot of greens. The more I'm trying to work the ball from one side to the other, the more margin I seem to leave myself to miss where I'm aiming but still hit the green.

 

Some days I feel really close to a great round but then again some days I feel like I forgot how to hit the ball altogether.

Iron consistency...I want to be like PQ when I grow up.

 

As I was telling PQ, I just want to have one miss and that's it. I was all over the place but at Hobbits the few holes but my short game saved my butt then that went away.

 

Just want the ability to keep my skills at an average not up and down.

I've only played with you once this year, in January or February, so I haven't seen your game really. How are you driving the ball? I know you're deadly with the shorter irons, so getting those in your hands as much as possible has gotta help your GIR stats and scores.

Driving consistency, which I know will lead to more GIR. Putting too much pressure on the short game these days. Lag putting would be the next aspect after that.

Fabb I am injury free this year so far and the driver distance has come back to some extend. Playing SPCC @ 6600 or 6900 I score the same. I will never hit it long but still long enough to play the tips at most places if I have too. I wish I was young in that respect but distance will always be a challenge.
