On another note I went 90/100 from 7' on the old SKLZ Accelerator mat tonight.

 

I am liking the feel of the RBG Yellow Srixon Z-Stars. I played 9 holes with one on Tuesday and it felt pretty good off of each club.

 

Side note: Took the older girls out for that 9 hole round. The younger one (middle daughter) has a natural ability to hit the ball (great hand-eye coordination) but the oldest was the one who fell in love with it and hit the longest drive of the day between them (54 yards on a flat Par 5). She wants to go play golf again "really soon" whereas the middle daughter said it was boring (she said we didn't pack enough snacks).

 

Either way the results were promising for me being able to play a lot more as long as I take a kid with me.

I know they aren't, but look like the old adidas strain they put out at one point. Like the of tour 360. From 2005ish. The white/black/red pair is in my trunk, you know, just in case.

Not a bad DTF. Bourbon barrel aged first meal, a breakfast stout with coffee and maple syrup, bomber. Then a couple tall boy 16's of good night Apollo, a Russian imperial Stout. The killing fields has drawn me in too. Looking forward to good weather and getting a few projects done tomorrow. Not sure my foot is ready for golf yet, but soon. Soon.

Got out of some meetings and finally caught up. I've drawn a helpful diagram for those trying to follow.

 

Jim Carrey would actually be in the sweet spot. Remember, in the beginning of Ace Ventura, he imitated a Delivery driver for a dog retrieval. Which was followed up by getting some by both the dog's owner and Courtney Cox.

 

I know, it's probably minutiae and 'Lighten Up, Francis'. Just blanked out on it until this morning.

My son told us in the car last night that one of the kids at daycare went home because she had a tummy ache and threw up. Now I'm totally manic, just waiting for one of my kids to start puking. I'm like a sad kicked dog when my kids are sick, so I'd at least prefer to not know it's coming. Ignorance is bliss.

I had a couple of hours free this morning so I decided to head out to the Beck. Got there around 10:30 and hit balls for a half hour or so still working on keeping the club head in front of my body on the takeaway. I am starting to feel confident with my irons. The big hook that starts left and goes farther left has become much more rare.

 

I then went out to play a few holes. I was literally the only person out on the back 9. It was glorious. I played 14 - 18 and then had to bounce. I was 1 over through that stretch and ended with a nice par on 18 after a GIR out of the last fairway bunker on the right.

 

I hope everyone is able to get out and enjoy this great weather.

If anyone was following my irrational 5W quest the other day, I didn't get one. I picked up a used Adams XTD Ti 20* hybrid with Matrix HQ3 shaft off CPO.... for $29 shipped.

 

I have a couple of nice TM hybrid adapter-ed shafts ready to try, but IIRC the Q3 line from Matrix was pretty decent.
