Yep, I've had a C-130 for three seasons now. It's a hoss but I love the thing. It's got its own lined rangefinder pocket for using an actual cart, the strap slots are well thought out, and it has my #1 desired feature in a bag- a putter well.

 

It could really use a bigger insulated pocket for drinks but since I got a Hydroflask I don't need it.

we should all do a hydroflask exchange some time. Just try other people's out to see if we prefer different colors or lid types.

 

REI is a treasure trove. I bought the straw lid for my 40 oz. and it's been a big upgrade.

Who uses a cart bag with their Clic? Goose has a C-130 I think right? Anyone else have a different cart bag they love?

OGIO silencer bag. Legit and light as well.

 

I'm only on round three with the Silencer, but I'm definitely in like with it. It might lead to love. Not having to hear the new Mizunos knock together for four hours is kind of nice. It was $170 on the bay.

 

And just saw on NBC news a story about Consumer Reports testing sunscreen - turns out many aren't the SPF they claim to be. Sully and Bangass might want to get a CR subscription for the month.

I'm so bummed the putter well on this projekt is designed the way it is. It's the perfect bag otherwise. Part of me just wants to f*** with it and make it work.

 

For those who aren't up to speed, it's got a cap that is a different diameter than the tube, causing a lip inside the putter tube that catches my grip every time I take it out. It's going to cause damage if I keep using it.

I got to try out my new set of irons on the range yesterday. Nike VR Forged Pro Combo 4-PW with DG Pro S300 shafts. The red golf pride grips are a nice touch. I was hitting a nice little draw on the range. They were also going higher than my previous set (original AP2's with Project X 6.0 shafts). I'm excited to get them out on the course and put them to the true test.

 

I also took my 3 iron out of my bag and put in my new SM5 60 degree. This will be the first time I carry a 60. The hope is that it gives me more versatility from 100 yds and in and around the greens.

As a thread follower, there's 2 things I haven't figured out, 1 of the mysterys solved on this page. The problem with Citys Thermos's and DTF(may not be the right initials).. But it's always a fun moment when I solve the southern boys slang. Keeps me tuning in daily!

Anyone have any good rain jacket suggestions? Mine sucks, and I generally prefer to get wet rather than swing with it on. I figure buying a nice expensive golf rain jacket is a sure fire way to make it stop raining.

I hear the MIZUNO WINDLITE SWEATER is a decent substitute until you get your real rain gear.
