I WAS NOT BY ANY MEANS A HUGE CALLAWAY FAN.... BEFORE TODAY.





So i had the latest Callaway Big Bertha 15* three wood hitting some typical topflite rangies and caught one out on the toe a little.... the next few balls sound terrible and fly almost as bad as some of barkleys.... Word not allowed little low drizzly little poontang cuts...so i looked at the face... DAM.NIT JIM I HAVE CAVED THE FACE IN ON THIS THING.....

so anyway the club was new off the rack and less than 2 years old... I call Callaway customer service... he asks me for the serial number on the head after i provide him with that he says mr. roberts ( that's me) what do you want. I said what about an X TOUR he says sure what shaft ... i said you mean R, S, OR X right? he says no. what shaft do you want in it.... so i said mitsushiba diamana to which he says there will be an upcharge if thats not already in there.... i said what shafts can i get with no charge... he says whats in your driver right now.... i said graffaloy blue X FLEX... 75 g's to which he said i dont have any of those built right now do you mind waiting an extra day or so while we build it.... NO I DONT.... so he repeats i am building to replace your BB a 15* X TOUR with a GRAFFALOY BLUE X FLEX SHAFT, does that work for you mr. roberts... to which i said do you have a 13* version... he says yes, i said can i get it, he says YES...

so on the way is a brand new just built for me CALLAWAY X TOUR 13* STEEL 3 WOOD WITH A GRAFFALOY BLUE X FLEX SHAFT INSTALLED....

CALLAWAY CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BEAUTIFUL.

Wow, that's impressive. Not surprising though. Whenever I call them with a question about a club spec that isn't listed on their site, they always have it and they are more than ready with it.

Callaway Customer Service is Second to None (in any industry). I have yet to find another manufacturer that stands behind their product or bends over backwards to make their customer happy as much as Callaway Does.

They didn't even ask you to send in the head 1st that you caved in???

nope. they said to just send in the bad one in the box that the new one comes in ... they emailed me a ups shipping label to affix to the box along with a reference number... shipping was even free... it cost me 10 of my cell phone minutes and thats it

Sign me up as a new Callaway fan also...bought an X460 during a fitting day. Spent way too much time in the sim with a very nice Callaway Rep. Believe he was a retiree who has a second career at Callaway. In any case, after hitting every shaft in the optifit, he finally recommends a Graphite Design YS7 R shaft. Told him I felt that it was popping the ball up too high, and wasn't as long as my Cobra Comp 414 with a Mitsu Rayon stiff shaft. He "sold" me on the benefits of the GD shaft.

 

Fast forward...I get the custom made X460 with the GD shaft, and it's a pop up machine. Contacted Callaway cust service. Woman was awesome..."what would you like us to do Mr. Hrocks?" Reshaft was fine--"here's a list of what we have, ask your pro which he would recommend for you". Bottom line, they installed a Fuji Speeder 569 R. Had it in less than two weeks, and it totally transformed the club. I was so pleased, I called to thank them for the incredible service, and the great performance of the club. I'm sold.

Called Callaway to ask about reshafting my FT3 with a VS Proto. Rep said the charge was normally $150, but he would waive it. I had the club back one week from the time it left my hands! New shaft, new grip, polished head. I am now a Callaway lifer!

Had trouble with the medallions falling off my x-tour irons. Callaway shipped me a new set and told me to return my old ones once the new ones arrived. I never went a day without clubs. First class job.

I had nothing but good experiences with Callaway Customer Service.

 

I wonder if their Ben Hogan division is as good.

I bought a single canopy umbrella. Popped a tip stitch soon after. Called Callaway and they sent a double canopy to replace it before they received my first one. They did have to take my credit card info though in case I did not return the single canopy. Callaway customer service is great.

Had a 2 year old Callaway stand bag. Called to get a part to fix the legs. They asked how old it was.

I told them and he said they'd send me a new one and what color would I like.

Callaway Customer Service is the best. They are replacing my X-Hot Fairway after the shaft splintered during a lesson this past Wednesday. After a few good hits off the mat, the shaft broke right above the hosel. The store that I bought the club called them, they are replacing it for free. No charge for shipping either. Also, the person at Callaway told us that they were very interested on how the shaft broke. Callaway will be sending a return shipping tag for it because they wanted it for their R&D Department.
