KBS Ctaper X: Difference in response between tapered & parallel??

I know you guys joke that us CtaperX players don't feel anything, but I recently changed from tapered tip to parallel shafts and I'm convinced the shaft is responding differently through the swing. All other metrics are the same in this build compared to old set - when it comes to length, weight, frequency etc. Anyone know these shafts inside out that could weigh in on the difference between taper & parallel for someone who has a pretty aggressive transition? Or feel free to tell me I'm losing my mind/swing;) Thanks!

Doesn't look like it matters to most... but in case you were wondering, I found the solution with the help of a really good club fitter. As soon as we bumped the weight of the irons to MOI of 2840 (old clubs with tapered tip shafts played at 2800) ball striking improved and I went back to striking pure shots. I guess there's got to be something related to the balance point/action in the taper vs parallel and my unique swing that causes the need for extra weight.

just out of curiosity, what did your fitter frequency the parallel c tapers at to match them with the x stiff taper tip you were using before?

did you notice any difference in performance i.e. ball flight, feel?
