Got my Zoom 90. If you have a high instep like me they are almost impossible to put on, especially with no pull tab on heel. Comfy once on but I don't think I'll keep em. Not as comfy as the LC4 or Jordan Flight Runner imho.

I don't even wear those shoes anymore after I got my Zoom 90. I feel the zoom 90 feels better than both of those shoes, in my opinion of course.

 

I can't wear my black one anymore since they got defective, but once my infrared 90 comes in. I'll be wearing those for a while.

 

Agree with you putting it on is a hassle, but my friend had a shoe horn and I used it, works so much better. I went to the dollar stoe the next day and got my own. LOL.

I keep those two in my rotation since I only recently got them. It was the blk/wht Zoom 90 that just arrived so I will offload those and stick with the Infrared's when they turn up since they are classics. Good tip on the shoe horn.

 

In Australia some other golf company has the rights to distribute Nike Golf and they are terrible. Thus on nike.com here there is zero golf gear. So buying stuff is such a hassle.

Just got a pair of the fi premieres for $121.99. Couldn't pass them up at that price. Golfsmith has them listed for $149.99 and have a 20% off code that works on them. Just had to add a bag of tees to get the code to work.

Btw, does anyone have a working code for NDC? They are already reduced, but when I ordered the blue ones the Zoom25 code was working. For these, I only got the discounted price, but was hoping somebody might know something I dont and I could adjust them down even further. Thanks.

 

Lastly, for anyone still 'on the fence' about the Chukkas, I'm a guy who wants his shoe to be absolutely MINIMAL, and even cheated on the swoosh regrettably a few times when the Adizero's came out (early version cleats not tennis shoes looking ones now which I hate, like many of the early Lunars) because I absolutely LOVED the 'cleat' look, where there was almost no sole to speak of (I'm still ashamed to admit it), These Chukkas are the real deal, amazingly light and fit like a glove, not big clunky 'high tops' that you could mistake them for. I confess I'm NOT a big fan of the Lunar Anything's yet, and the 90's and Premiers are all just meh for me, so when it comes to the latest and greatest, IMO nothing else compares to these right now.

Koo, thanks for the info...just making sure I didn't miss anything, still very pleased they were $40 bones cheaper and my size popped back up. As much as I love these shoes, it's a STEAL. Until Nike starts making something else I love, I'm gonna probably get every CW, so gotta get any and every deal I can! Living in San Diego with little rainfall n plenty of perfect weather, I just didn't there was much chance I'd have much use for 'high tops', but these shoes are absolutely SICK in how they look and feel.

So I'm def ALL IN of the Chukkas now, just took advantage of GS's buy save 20%, which the Chukkas are part of, and got the Blk/Wht and Crimson/Red.

 

Can't wait to break all these bad boys in, and hope Nike doesn't release ANYTHING I like for awhile. The kids gotta eat after all!

 

Only downside was, they only had 11's in the blk/wht so I went with 11.5's in the other, hoping they restock my size and I can exchange later. How is GS about that kind of exchange if I make sure and not wear them? Budget Golf stuck me with my Zoom Attacks which run too big because I wore them out on range one time so they have definitely lost my business, but learned my lesson. Never done a return with GS before but wanted to grab these shoes while they were on a solid deal.

Nike took back my Zoom Fires in exact same condition because of same sizing issue with NO QUESTIONS ASKED even though they said they were not in resalable condition, just took them into local Nike store and they ordered right size. I would have been more careful but since I hadn't bought any of the most recent NG versions, as I pretty much hated the last few years styling until this years models, I had no reason to think my normal 11.5 size (which I have in a half-dozen older pairs of Zooms and others) I wear would be an issue. After dealing with that issue, I went to a local GS and tried them ALL on, only to find that nearly EVERY pair of the newer models runs a half-size larger, so now I'm 11 in everything.

 

And btw, when I say those shoes were 'worn', on both pairs of shoes, we're talking almost PERFECT immaculate condition, but a little wear did show on the spikes. BG was NO HELP WHATSOEVER, and lost my money for good, which GS has just reaped the rewards of. More importantly, because of how Nike handled it, I will try and buy everything I can through them, because I was very impressed. Already received by new Fires but haven't even taken them out of the box yet. Was considering returning them again now that I've got an affair with the Chukkas going on, but still LOVE how wicked that bright RED looks so can't get myself to do it.

While NDC pretty much sticks to price tags unless it's marked down/clearance, the huge benefit of having a Nike+ account and ordering from there is that you can try stuff and return it within 30 days for a full refund, no questions asked. Most golf shoes should be covered by the fit/comfort guarantee as well, for up to 45 days. You can buy from any authorized Nike retailer but instead of a simple return and refund you have to go through a claim process and you get a voucher.

Yeah, it's definitely a trade off. I will usually go for wherever has the best price on the item I want, honestly. I don't return stuff all that often. I buy direct from Nike on ID pairs and NDC exclusive colorways. Also anything on clearance with a coupon. Outside of that, retailers usually offer better prices on shoes and such, but you have to expect to lose out on the "bend over backwards" customer service offered when buying straight from Nike.

 

Also, I've gotten free items when I buy a lot of Nike.com stuff in a short amount of time. So that's another bonus.

 

UPS had my Zoom IT 90s in my city at 5am today and sat on them because they're not due until tomorrow. :(

Got the trunk case earlier this week but now I have stuff to put into it.
