I'm an english major from ECU. I know what the words mean. '53 Precision is a "Friend" of mine. Let me tell you guys something about this club 'ho. I expressed the problem of 13 perfect clubs but the missing driver was killing me. I told him I felt a early 50's M75 with a good shaft would scratch my itch. The boy brought me one today that is fantastic! He simple said as he handed it to me, " here pro is your driver". If you guys ever get to meet this man, you will understand why I love him like a brother. Good friends aren't hard to find, it's darn near impossible. Their almost as rare as unicorns. Mike

Good deal ! Yep there are some great folks on this forum. I remember you and I conversed some on PM and you know some folks that I do in eastern NC. Yep a good friend is more precious than silver or gold

I am not an ECU alum but all of my folks from my step Mom's side are from the area and I spent a lot of time there. Actually my Step Mom and my aunt went to ECU when it was ECTC (East Carolina Teacher's College). I blow all these folks minds around here. Even though I am not into any sports most of the folks here even the transplants are either Clemson or USC fans. they ask me and I basically blow them off by saying neither I am a ECU fan. LOL they do not know how to respond to that :taunt:

Absolutely positively looking forward to it. Even though the temps were mild today we got rain in Biblical proportions again yesterday and the courses are already soaked and CPO. CPO normally is not too bad but as wet as it is my big butt tends to sink up and it is tough on my bad ankles. But I did practice some with a friend of mine then we came back to my shop here at the house and did some club tinkering. he is as big of a club ho as I am and loves tinkering as much as I do. We switched out a shaft in his recently acquired V-Steel 3 wood and bent the lies on a couple of his vokeys. I actually hit his recent thrift store find of a Wood Brothers cork filled wood driver that he got fro the pricely sum of $2.99. That thing hits good. he is a real good player and hits that darn thing nearly as far as he does his modern Cally BB Gravity Core. Overall pretty good fun day even if we did not play
