Leupold gx-3i2 impulse buy

I've been thinking of invest in a rangefinder this season and had my eyes on the bushnell v3.

 

Saw the gx-3i2 new in box for $265 and bought it without even compare the two. I've never even looked at the leupold rangefinders, kind of a newbie in this catagory.

 

For what I've read afterwards I think I made a good decision going with the gx-3i2 for that price.

 

Please convince me I did :)

I bought it online so I have never seen it in person. The size looks good and for what I've read the OLED display seems to be something else.

I've got the Gx-3i and it's the best rangefinder I've ever owned. Have to imagine the next version is even better

Congrats! Great price on maybe the best rangefinder for the price available today.

 

I have the Bushnell V3 as well as the Leupold - I like the Gx-3i2 much better.

I love my Leupold only it broke so I had to send it in. It lasted about 3 years is all. Kind of disappointed in the durability.

Given the way their CS is, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't send you the 3i2 as a repacement.

Sent my 5yr old GX-3 in because the display was fading….for a brand new GX-3i2 as a replacement. Didn't even need the original receipt, so you should get a new one!

I have my eye on the new bushnell v4, which finally is a bushnell in a compact size. The Leopolds are the best imho because they offer the red display readout vs black which can get washed out in front of trees etc and also are smaller in size.

Same thing just happened to me on my GX-3i. Thought the battery was dead, so i bought a new one and replaced it. Still no workie.... Called them up and sent it back to them. 2 weeks later i have a brand new GX-3i2 sitting on my front porch.

 

Their customer service is top notch.

This is what I'm hoping for as well. Bought my GX-4i brand new back in 2012 and the left hundreds digit started to completely fade this year even with focusing and new battery. Sent it in this week, hopefully get the same result!
