I used to be big into Vokeys a few yrs ago. Back then people were paying 700-850 a piece for the hand stamped proto ones. I have a couple neat ones still laying around. I picked up on on ebay that was the very first batch he ever made, it has an S on the bottom instead of the loft. I also have one with a copper insert

That is an incredible collection of Vokeys you have (or had :tongue: ) there! I knew about the 300 series wedges, but I had never seen a picture of one. The more smooth rounded shape appeals to me, how did you like this wedge, and how hard are they to find nowadays? I know they were taken out of production because they were not very popular, but it looks like an incredible wedge by the pictures, and I'm sure they don't do any of them justice whatsoever.

Thanks for the answer Zip, by the sounds of it I guess I would like the 200 series (which is what I currently play in all of my wedges). Anywho, those are some incredible Vokeys that you have obtained in the previous years.

I got my tour vokeys on golf boards, ebay, and from a few tour guys I know.....The black spin milled vokeys in Matt's pics are retail wedges refinished in black....

Can any of you Vokey studs post a pic of the Spin Mill Face. There have been a couple but I was hoping for a real close up. Actually instead of posting if you can tell me if just the grooves are milled or is the whole face milled. And is the any direction of the mills (top to bottom, left to right?). I have access to a machine shop and I am thinking of making my Oil Can in to a "Custom" spin mill :birthday:
