A guy in the qualifier at my state shot 70-62 on a par 72... he won by like 13 haha.

Yeah, he is a great player, he won by 8. I know him really well. His brother plays for South Carolina and is really good as well, and his dad has made the cut in a couple PGA Tour events.

Wesley is better than George, in my opinion. Wesley shot 65-65 the first 2 rounds of the SC State Junior, then choked and shot 70 lol. He had a 8 shot lead after 2 rounds, ended up winning by 5

yeah, he beat Jacob by 5 haha. I bet Jacob was PISSED.

i played at cedarwood cc in charlotte on 25th of june. i shot 77-72 and missed it by a gillion. let me tell you junior golf these days can be very demoralizing...sure i didnt play well, but i know ive got the game to be quite good and i just cant get the ******* putter to come around

 

 

I live 5 minutes from Cedarwood...I would have played, but im too old. That course is extremely easy, I was surprised how high the qualifying scores were.

 

 

since when is a par 71 with a 72.8 rating "extremely easy?" maybe not hard but id definetely say that course isnt extremely easy, where do you play, oakmont? :aggressive:

Cedarwood is REALLY easy. I have played there probably 50 times...

 

Every hole except for the par 3's are driver wedge...and all the par 5's are reachable easily. plus a drivable par 4.
