A year ago today...

A year ago today I proposed to my fiancé down in Disney World. I can't believe how quickly the time has passed and how quickly the wedding is approaching . We're at 73 days until the big day and I couldn't be more excited. We met each other in high school but didn't really hang out until college. We spent five years dating before we got engaged. The best part about my fiancé is she totally supports my golfing habits. I've found a keeper.

Congrats! Be sure to share a little advice with your wife about the wedding day. Something is going to go wrong, it does at everyone's wedding. What's done is done. Just have fun and dance the night away! Also, everyone has a crazy family so don't let the people you might never see again (or for a very long time), ruin your day. Again, just have fun, laugh off the stuff that goes wrong and enjoy the evening with each other. A year from now you will look back and not remember half of it because the night flies by. After my wife put cake on my face we were told to put the cake down and take some photos. I never got any cake that night! haha. (insert dirty joke here).

Anyway, have fun and dance with your wife!

I actually met my wife in college too when i was dating her friend....And then we ended up getting together later. A woman who understands that people need activities, such as golf, is a great thing. And hopefully she has stuff that she likes too

Have a great wedding. It can be expensive, but it's a fun day that you'll always remember

Try and spend as much time as you can with your friends and family that day. It can go by quickly. Try and soak it all in

I received quite the scare today. My fiancé called to let me know she was in an accident. She was driving on the highway and drove under a bridge that they were doing construction on and a rock roughly the size of a football fell and hit her windshield on the driver side. It collapsed the windshield and fragments of the bolder shot off and narrowly missed her head and into the back windshield. You can see in the picture were the rock fully penetrated the glass right where her head was. Fragments of glass shot into her knuckles and her mouth and cut her up. She managed to slam on the breaks and luckily a cop monitoring the construction was there to help her get over 3 lanes to the shoulder and attend to her wounds. They sent out an ambulance and another officer to interrogate the workers on how this happened. The story we got was that they were stacking rubble on the side of the bride and the vibrations caused by the machinery caused some of it to fall. We're incredibly lucky she came out alive. Somehow I feel guilty about the whole situation, being 25 years old I just always picture us growing old together and I shouldn't take that for granted.

Don't ever take loved ones for granted.
