Push Cart Options

I have a 6 year old golfer who plays frequently, standard rounds and tournaments on both short and standard courses.

on the short courses they either walk or I choose to walk versus paying for a cart.

In any case I am looking for a 3/4 wheeled cart; US Kids at one point had one but now only offer a pull. Ideally I would like to get one that has an umbrella holder with a wishlist of having a seat similar to my sun mountain V1.

is there something out there junior (or adult size) with those features?

Clic Gear. Best Cart out there IMO. I own 2 of them. My daughter has had hers for 4 years and haven't had one problem. The push part is adjustable to get to the little guys height. Has an umbrella holder on the side for when closed and on top. Easy to break down and store.

We have adult models. At that age I would get the junior model. I am sure the bag will fit on the cart better.

Try stopping by your local Play It Again Sports or the like. My 8 year old picked up a like new four wheel cart for $70.

My sons buddy has one of those. It broke within a year.

What brand was it he had? They pretty much just have what people have turned in so I can't imagine he picked a good one. The one my son has is in perfect condition and shows no signs of breaking any time soon.

It was white. I am not sure of the brand.

My daughter is 11 and has a Sun Mountain 4 wheeled cart. It's just a couple of years old. I can't remember the name, Micro something. It has been great. The only thing I don't like is the seat option for the 4 wheeled cart, but that's really not a big deal. She just got new clubs so we'll get her a Clic Gear for Christmas. We see a lot of kids with those nowadays. I will happily take the Sun Mountain for myself as I am trying to walk more with the kids myself.

I have the clic gear 3.5 and use it all the time for my son's tournaments. I have nothing but great things to say about it. The good thing about clic gear is you have all kinds of accessories that you can buy for it which is nice.

My daughter is 10 and is going to need some new clubs this year but we came across a crazy Amazon deal one night for one of the CaddyTek Superlite 3 wheel carts that was like 30 some dollars so thats what she uses. I have a clicgear 3.5 that she may get to use one day but for now the CaddyTek it is. Only problem we ran into was her bag was too short to lock in both places but I suspect her next set she gets will fit the cart.

Get a cheap volleyball and put it at the base. Set the clubs on top of it. Bag problem solved.

Ive got both the rovic Jr and the 3.5. I think the 3.5 is the better way to go. The rovic is great too, but 3.5 is nice. It will fit a larger junior bag. Gotta try that volleyball trick.

Just picked up an adult Clic 3.5. What i noticed with the rovic Jr. is that it flips over very easy. I'd hate to have the clubs snap in the process. Looking forward to trying it this weekend with the volleyball trick as well.
