Coronado Fees

I was going to book a round at Coronado but there is a $16.25 fee on top to just book online!

 

Is this fee the same if calling the pro shop directly? That's crazy that the service fee is 1/3 of the price of the tee time.

They only let you make a fee free tee time two days before the day you want to play. The way to do that is on their website. What day and time do you want to play and are you playing as a single?

Yes; playing as a single. I was trying to book for this Saturday. So I need to wait until Thursday....thanks a mil for that tidbit!

If playing as a single, just show up and fill in an empty spot on the tee sheet...I've never had a problem in the handful of the times I've played here...

As PepsiDuck said, if you can't get a tee time calling on Thursday, just be there early on Saturday morning and you will get out. It might take a little while but they have a nice practice green right next to the first tee so you can hone in you putting stroke. And when you call, be prepared to be on the phone for 10 to 15 minutes redialing to get through to the starter. Have a good time, I'll be there on Friday. :-)

I've never had luck calling 48hrs before. Can't ever get thru untill the afternoon, and by then all the choice tee times are booked.

Gave up on playing Coronado long ago, it's too much of a hassle for a time, and even if you do, the rounds are unbearably slow.

You shouldn't have a problem as a single tho

Gave up on playing Coronado long ago, it's too much of a hassle for a time, and even if you do, the rounds are unbearably slow.

It depends on when you want to play. I called this morning and by 9:15 I had a tee time for Thursday at 6:52 am. I've never had a weekday round that started before 8 am take longer than 4 hours. I almost never play there on weekends.

It depends on when you want to play. I called this morning and by 9:15 I had a tee time for Thursday at 6:52 am. I've never had a weekday round that started before 8 am take longer than 4 hours. I almost never play there on weekends.

Maybe I just have bad luck, but trying to get a time anywhere from fri-sun has always been near impossible. I call all day and can't ever get thru untill the afternoon, and by that time nothing is left.

I called on Friday morning (10/14) for a tee-time on Sunday (10/16). The starter was closed, but I spoke to someone in the Pro Shop who helped. They had quite a few noon-ish tee times available as a single. I booked 11:52am. At the airport, I called to see if they had anything earlier, and they had a spot open at 11:30, which I took.

 

It was a great day, although it did take 5 hours due to a group a few groups ahead of us who didn't see anything wrong playing as a sixsome. :angry:
