Best Golf Glove

I might be crazy but I switch gloves all the time. It fits my mood the day I play.
I have about 5 Footjoy Sci Flex in different colors.
I have a Taylor Made R7, GREAT quality glove.
Titleist players is good too and just got a Ping M.
I also have Bionic for my arthritis but only use this in the range.

I prefer the FootJoy Sci Flex for fit and durability.
Ping is comfortable but the thumb moves on me, doesn't hold in place. It uis distracting to adjust it each swing.
Tieleist "players" is all around the best glove my money can buy.
Make sure it is PLAYERS edition. They have another very similar not not the real thing.

for tournament play the titlaist players glove wins hands down but as i practise approx 8-10hours per week and the glove only lasts max 6-8rounds I would def not use it for practise. Get a more durable glove for practise, use the players glove in tourneys - best feel by a mile

Try the Mizuno Skintite glove, better feel and durablity than the Tity.

Footjoy take some beating for durability, however, try the Srixon Staff, less hard wearing but superb feel and good value.

Another vote for "other".

I use either Golfsmith's 100% Cabretta glove or MasterGrip's DynaGrip (also 100% cabretta).

I'm sure most of you have received junk mail from MasterGrip over the years. Well back in the early 90s, I decided to give them a shot. I find their glove to be every bit as good as the old Titleist cabrettas. And the price!! 2 gloves for $13.95! www.mggolf.com

The Golfsmith gloves are great too and last a long time in the sweaty, Houston conditions. These gloves are anywhere from $10-12 each, but every once in a while they will go on sale for $6.98. That's when I buy 8-10 of them.

I've tried lots of Gloves, but I keep going back to the FJ Sci Flex. It's not the perfect glove, but so far it's better then anything else I've tried.

FJ Sci Flex
Pros:
Perfect Fit for my Hand
Very Soft and tacky when new
Breathable, this glove keeps my hand the coolest of everything I've tried
Colors - I know not a real reason to buy a glove, but it's nice to have options
Cons:
Stretches out quickly. - It will stretch out to the point where I have the pull the Velcro enclosure way past it's normal point to keep it snug.


Titleist Players:
Pros:
Very Soft when new
Cons:
Couldn't find a size that perfectly fit my hand
Wore our pretty quickly* - This isn't from first hand experience - just what my friend told me


Nike Dri Fit
Pros:
Decently kept my hand cool
Cons:
The construction inside is pretty poor. In the fingers you can feel the excess material at the tips where the seam is. Very annoying feeling.
Just not very soft


Japan's Fit 39/ Excel-7 (not sure if these are the exact same glove, but look similar)
Very different glove. Mainly made from spandex, with an integrated leather material.
Pros:
Very comfortable snug fit
Tackiest glove I've every used. When it's hot this glove everything will stick to this glove, including coins in ur pocket.
Cons:
Hard to Find
Spandex soaks up sweat

Golf training gloves were developed to help in the learning process of amateur and professional golfers. I prefer StaSof over SciFlex but I use SciFlex for practice purpose.

Check out the Under Armour golf gloves. I'm not a fan of their marketing and I like the Nike compression shirts better but their gloves are soft and comfortable!

I'm sure I've posted in this thread but I have to say again...the Wilson Staff Pro Soft is the best glove I've ever used. Very thin and soft and the fit is perfect. Even after a season of use (I usually rotate 2-3 gloves) I can slide my hand in and it's fits great: no stretching or bunching up. They are harder to find but gppgolf.com has them so I'm set.

 

Just behind the Pro Soft is the Ping M-Fit. Excellent fit and feel as well.

Bionic last longest and is very comfortable. SciFlex is pretty good. Picked up new Adidas AG3 (something like that) for summer, full microperf leather and CoolMax will see how hold up

Foot-Joy Gloves are the most over-hyped product in golf! I use to sell a line of golf gloves from a major manufacture that didn't have the marketing power or appeal like FJ. Although the gloves I sold were far better, and I would buy the competitive model FJ Gloves to have the buyer/pro compare against it. I sold a higher quality line of gloves with better materials (much better margin than FJ) and a better fit. Although buyers/pros almost had to have at least one FJ Glove due to the consumer demand they played and tried to sell mine. Try the compariable FJ models to that of a name brand competitor and feel the difference for yourself and save some $ in the process.

The best gloves are the ones I can get PUD or free. FootJoy, Taylor, Wilson, Mizuno, it doesn't matter.

 

I prefer the Mizzy Skintite. There's a new rep for our area, hope he is as generous as the last one. :)

The new Taylor Made Targa Tour glove is the most comfortable glove I have ever worn. It has micro ventilation holes and is moisture wicking.

Srixon gloves are by far the best for me; my pro-like grip wears a hole in the butt end of everyother glove in about 2 rounds of use, but not Srixon. They have good feel as well.

The new Nike series has about the worst durability ever, one round in the rain, and i had a huge hole in the thumb, my Titleist players has had about 10 in the rain, and my etonic practice glove has hit thousands of balls and probably had about 30 in the rain
