Relaunched as of July 2, 2007
As you can imagine, we have been consumed by the huge effort to relaunch Golfdigest.com. We hope you like the changes and the new look. You may find that some of the links previously posted on GolfWRX don't work. Over the next few weeks and more we will continually be moving more material to the new site. Not everything will be moved, but we will fix the links posted on golfwrx for everything that is moved.

Now that the launch is done we will gradually be able to step up the flow of fresh material to the Golf Digest forum on golfwrx. New pieces are on the way!

Michael,

The new GD site looks terrific.

The archives ae gradually being rebuilt. For the contents of current issues and past issue a search for "Table of Contents" should bring them up. Also, you can use the sites search function to find articles that may have been brought to the new site, but not listed in an archived TOC

The current issue of GD TOC can be found by going to the magazine page and clicking on the link near the top of the left hand column.

The current issue of GW TOC can be found by going to the golfworld page and clicking on the link about halfway down in the left most column.

I started a topic about an issue with the new GD.com but now that I've found this one, I'll just put it here.

Mods, please delete my other topic if necessary.

Went to the Golf Digest web site today after a couple of weeks layoff and really like the new look. It will take a little getting used to, but overall it's not bad at all. However, there is one area where GD REALLY dropped the ball: swing sequences.

It seems that with the new layout, you went to a new software(?) for the sequences making them futile to view frame-by-frame. Before the site redesign, you could select a sequence and move the slider side to side and the video would advance or rewind at the same time, allowing you to look at different positions in the swing. Now you can't do that. The video is jumpy, skips frames, and is no where NEAR as smooth and useful as it was before. What has the website done differently to ruin such a great feature of the site? Please say they have noticed this and are working on correcting it!

For what its worth, I really miss the Ron Whitten Review Library. I always liked reading about his experiences with each course. I hope his reviews are part of the archived material that will be added to the new site over the next few weeks.

I also hope the "Best 99 holes in golf" article makes the cut as well. I am going to a course in a couple of weeks that had 3 holes on the list, but now I can't access the article to see which ones they were. Oh well.

Agreed! In addition, the videos seem smaller, and watching a 20 second ad EVERY time i want to see a 2 second swing sequence makes browsing the swing library a time consuming and irritating process.
