Discussion Forum: Pictures, Installation Instructions, Etc
I would really like to use this thread to get as much information together about the TOUR CLOCK SLEEVE. Your help is appreciated.

1) Do you have any pictures of an uninstalled Tour Clock Sleeve?

2) Do you know what position they are installed to achieve the face angle manipulation? ie, notch at noon produces...

3) Do you know where to get one?

Thanks for your help. This seems to be a consistent thread topic so lets organize the info.

No one has any info on this topic?

Instead of bending a Callaway head for face angle, a ferrell/sleeve is used for installation.

what is this?

Yep, it is a shaft sleeve that allows you to manipulate the face anlge on Callaway clubs like the FT3, FT 5 and others that use the sleeve to install the shaft. It has really only been available from the tour van but recently I think Callaway has started installing them on extreme custom jobs like the previous poster mentioned.

I started this thread in the hopes that someone had a picture of one uninstalled. I just received my custom FT5 with the tour clock and the notch is set at 6 o'clock and it looks BEAUTIFUL!

• Install the arrow at the 3:00 position for neutral

• Install the arrow at 6:00 for open

• Install the arrow at 9:00 for flat

• Install the arrow at 12:00 for upright

The tour ferrule will give about 2* of adjustment. The picture is a little fuzzy sorry. The only place I know to get them is off the Callaway Tour van or BSG. It is my understanding that BSG will not sell them, but will use them if you send in your club to be reshafted.

near impossible to find. 6:00 is the most open 1.7 open and decrease effective loft by 1.1 degrees. 4:30 is a common setting 1* open and decreases effective loft less than 1 degree

Dumb question perhaps, but when we're talking about 3:00, 4:30, etc., it's in relation to what? What orientation should the club be in when assessing the clock position?

Thanks!

I would love to know the answer to that as well. Also; when you open the face up to 1* for example; are you also flattening the lie? Oh Joe; where are you???

Not knowing what is the original face angle was, It's recommendable to do it with golf club gauge to get the exact angle you like. Any body can turn it to look open or close, But without double checking it with a gauge, You'll never know what you'll get.
