TM M1 Iron ordering Snafu.

Ok so I ordered a set if TM M1 Irons from TaylorMade website with customization, and first of all that site is a pain in the Word not allowed to navigate. I know what I wanted as far as loft , lie , length , shaft, and grippage. The customization part of the site is where you input your specs, anyway when it was time to input my selection of shafts all I could find on the interaction part of the form , where xp95 which for me were kinda light, so I continued on to the grip section, I thought I ordered 2 extra wraps, ok this is where it gets bad for me. I get a confirmation email about a half an hour later. I rechecked my order and it said I ordered 4-9 instead of 4-W. It went on to say standard L/L/L , when I ordered 1*flat. The grip ordered was correct but the wrap was 3 wraps on bottom hand and 1 wrap on top hand , I ordered just 2 extra wraps. I got the confirmation email on Friday , May 5th. @4:00pm est. I immediately called CS. of course they were closed so I had to wait till Monday. I called on Monday and talked to "Randy" and supposedly got everything ironed out. Well here comes May 15th and no email saying they were shipped. Randy said they would ship on the 11th. So I called once again. This time I was told for some reason this order was on hold. I was at this point getting just little frustrated as I am a very patient person and know things happen , during that conversation I asked about shaft options due to only the xp95 being offered , he told me at least 5 or more different types and I was please to find out that the shafts I really wanted were available, CTaper 120. So he said he would add them to my order at no extra charge due to all the confusion. Moral to my story...Deal or no Deal on the CTaper's at no extra charge.

There is no upcharge for ctaper 120. I went through discount dans and they had ctaper option for free too. I went with modus 120 stiff hard stepped x1

 

I had an issue with my 7i face slot coming out so tm replaced it within a week for free.

It might be slightly different, as I am in Canada, and I assume you're US. However, Taylormade has quite an extensive range of free shafts available for irons now as well as woods. So while the C-Taper being free is awesome for you, there is no real deal as it was always free.

I guess that was my point , after all the mix ups with the order , the last guy I talked with made me think that I was getting a deal . Oh well , at least I'm getting the set up that I want.

Deal only if you have tried the c tapers before. Swing profile I play x in most iron shafts but the c tapers stiffs seem a bit more stout than a stiff. If you know what c tapers model you want then yes
