end of season, need a winter golf hobby

Pretty soon its gonna be cold with snow on its way. What do you guys do golf related in the cold months? buy and sell gear? make things? putting mats? simulators? i live in a very rural area so it would have to be stuff to do at home or outside.

Live in AZ now but growing up in Cincinnati my winter pattern was break a few ceiling tiles in the basement, put chips in the coffee table and break a lamp. By then I’d need 2 weeks of rest to let my butt heal from my dad whooping my a that it was March and I could play again.

I f you don't mind leaving your vehicle out, you can use your garage as a hitting bay. You could pick up a cheap hitting mat and hit into a blanket, or use a tracker and a net, or get a simulator. Depends on how much you want to $pend and the fun factor.

For me it will be a golf trip around the end of the year, golf simulator and in the home putting practice. As we get closer to the thaw I will drive south a good distance for day trips to warmer areas.

Assume that you're being facetious. Haven't met a wife yet that loves the smell of brewing beer. I have a buddy that brews his own and his wife goes away for the weekend when he's doing it! :lol:

hell no I am not being facetious. I'm serious. Now I am going to brew from wort for the time being but it seems to have a lot of similarities to golf. Can be fun, expensive etc.
