You could order a 4-iron from here: https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/golfpartner/item/2100226992801/

I've never ordered from rakuten, but plenty of people here have with success

Thanks for the link. I can’t seem to figure out what shaft it comes with? My Japanese is severely lacking

Got mine in from the Amazon today. The black shafts look great. Came in original Bridgestone packaging.

Dealing with a back injury. So going to be a while before I get to hit them.

Yes, got mine direct from Maple Hill Golf and they look exactly the same as these. Beauties.

No need to buy from Rakuten. Maplehill Golf through ebay and the listing on Amazon (I suspect also Maplehill Golf) will both get you these lovely hitting clubs with the black KBS clubs. I bought mine via ebay from Maplehill Golf. They had some sets that were +1/2" and +1", so I got a +1". Now only standard length in R anbd S flexes. Grab them while you can! Not a big inventory of these.

I just received my order in this week. Can’t wait to give them a try. I also wish I could find a 4 iron. Any suggestions

I wound up buying a custom spec'd Srixon 585 4 iron. Only difference I noticed when I A|B tested the SrixonZ585 against the Bridgestone Tour B X-CBP 5 irons is that the Srixon seemed a tad softer impact. Otherwise, the look is very similar and swing feel is the same.

This is based on a browser translation, but the Bridgestone press release says that the body is forged, but the face is made from SAE 8655 Chrome Molybendum (?) Steel.

And the stock specs and some pics:

I think your suspicion is correct. I have the X-CB and it is softer at impact than these. Very similar feel compared to Srixon Z585, but just a wince crisper than the Z585. I can't imagine these clubs being able to use a thin 1020 steel face. Whatever material it is, it works just fine!

The Callaway Apex is significantly harsher on impact compared to the Srixon Z585 and these Bstone X-CBP irons. I have an Apex 4 and 5 iron that I used to get a little more ball speed and trajectory height compared to my P-6 Apex Pros, and I wound up putting these in my club overflow bin as the impact feel was just unappealing.

Can someone give an update on the CBP irons? Living in the Midwest I'm daydreaming about hitting them in warm weather somewhere. In reality they are sitting in a box getting zero use.

Was your Z585 4i shafted with the same KBS shaft? I ask because I'm curious if the shaft difference may play a part in the feel.

No, I put in an NS Mosus3 Tour105 and also tested the 565 5 iron with an NS Pro 850GH. This certainly could account for the feel difference. They are close enough that the difference is not significant enough to care about.

I got the chance on Wednesday to hit my 7 iron CBP. These things are awesome! Really like the flight with the $-taper shafts.

Wanted to give an update. Played my first round with the new 2017 Tour B X-CBP’s today and all I can say is I cannot imagine a better set of irons for $400 new. I can’t decide what I like more, the Bridgestone head or the KBS $Taper shafts, which are so much smoother and better for me than the C Taper that I cannot believe it took me this long to try them.

I played really well for me today (38-36-74 with two birdies) and these irons are so precise. I have a 5-P set and the 5 is very easy to launch. Do not sleep on these if you can find a set. Same lofts as the J15CB so easy to combo. I carried 5-9 Tour B today and kept the J15 wedge in the bag just to have something familiar, but I am going to game the entire X-CBP set. As forgiving as a Ping but I actually like the Bridgestone sole grind a lot more. They never were released in the U.S. but are worth tracking down. Typical high quality Bridgestone iron. Powerful with nice feel. If you can find the $ Tapers, they add a lot too.
