I’ve lived in LV for a while now, maybe I have some opinions of use.

You mentioned burgers, you’re staying at Cosmo so you have the best burger spot in your hotel; Holsteins. Get the gold standard and enjoy. I heard some recommendations for in-n-out, although sure it’s cheap you get what you pay for. I think it’s pretty nasty.

Everything on the strip is expensive, it is what it is.

There’s a good golf shop just west of the strip (within walking distance) called Las Vegas Golf and Tennis Center. They also opened a PGA superstore in Summerlin recently.

If you’re going to a show, it’s absolutely mandatory you see Absinthe at Caesar’s. It’s the best show on the strip ainec.

Wynn/Encore is on a different level of nice. Nothing on the strip compares. Great restaurants, great shows, great sports book, and even better service. Their buffet is unmatched as well. A restaurant there called Allegro has a burger that’s on par with Holsteins but is only available on their late night menu (I think 12-4am).

I saw a few recommendations for Lotus, It’s good but there are better options. Chada Thai and Wine is absolute top notch and rarely as busy.

Went to the Wynn today and wandered back to the pro shop. First, it is still open and lots of things were on sale 40-60% off. JL, FJ, TM, Peter Millar and RLX all on sale. The lady inside said that they will be closing the doors middle of Jan. so I expect even more discounting as the day draws near to closing. Cleaned up with some FJ jackets and vest's. Two TM shirts and a towel.

Was out there in Feb and heading back in May. I go 2-3 times per year. I love it out there, too. It's such a great place to get away for a long wknd and just take it all in.

I have gone multiple times where I have been there for a week....and love every minute of it.
