Played Sunnybrook today. Great course. Classic design. The staff could not have been more courteous. It was nice to not have houses on both sides of each hole.

I am at Old York and captaining our first team this year. That and about $1.25 will get me a coffee at WaWa...lol!

 

Anyway, our rotation includes Rancocas, Northhampton Valley, and Sandy Run. We played Rancocas on Sunday and won both home and away. I played in the #1 spot away at Rancocas with some great guys and good players. The course was rough, but we had fun anyway and the weather was beautiful.

 

Northampton Valley is next so I've got to get to work on our lineups. It's like herding cats...

I'll be at Old York playing the #2 team there - I'm on Woodcrest 1. I'm sure you guys will be hanging out after, I'll have on a light purple visor, let's have a beer!

I'm on the OY's 1st team. We had a good time with the Northampton Valley crew...great guys! Our 1st team has a nice lead going into the final week. We play Sandy Run this Sunday...

no worries man, I played Jack Destefano. I loved the course, cool layout, fun holes.

Old York’s layout was great. Wish I could’ve finished out the round better, and I’d love to see that course again after having played it once. Great experience from the home team, DB and The Rocket were very accommodating.

Played SR many times. Less than 5 minutes from where I live. If you haven't, take a look at a map and look at how many courses are in that little area.

You have a really good swing and you putt well. Think you get that touch from your dad! If you ever decide to get serious you'd do really well in a lot of Am events!

They are in the B division so as far as first teams go, they are on the lower end but they are winning their group and with a win this Sunday they will have a challenge match the following Saturday to move up a level to the A division, The first team at my home club is in the A division and is going to have to win a challenge match to stay there. Maybe Old York will play Talamore in a challenge match.

I played it in the Patterson Cup a few years ago. Honestly I was a little underwhelmed after hearing really good things about the course. There are some good holes out there but it doesn't suit my eye and a couple of the tee shots are flat out stupid like #12 and #15 where there is nowhere to hit it and you can't see where it comes down. Maybe playing it a second time will change my mind a little.

No, not hardly...lol! We are seriously lacking in depth of low single digit players. That's why we're down in the B division.

 

In years past we've mostly been in A, and a couple of years we made it up to AA for a cup of coffee before getting knocked back down ?. We've lost a number of good players since then though...

 

We were fortunate to win our group/flight this year and will be challenging up to A this Saturday against Little Mill's 2nd Team.

Well missed the cut by 1 at Llanarch for the mid am.

 

Course played tough by fair, and i just played poor.

 

Too many doubles on the day.

 

Scoring average was like 80.5
