Do these courses drain well in the winter?

I was debating of travelling south to take advantage of Cdn $ at par in February.

Loomis is slightly drier than Semiahmoo.

Nothing is worth the drive or even the Golfnow special to play. Lots of H2O in the last month and continued into this month. No let up in sight. I would give it a good 2-3 weeks of dry weather to even try to get on a golf course.

I have not visited a golf course in 5 weeks now, only been to driving range to quench the thirst.

 

Pineapple Express, same as what you guys had north of the border. If it's too wet to play over there, it'll be the same over here, especially Everett to Bellingham , the convergent zone where most of the moisture would ended up.

 

I heard the North Bellingham Muni and the Avalon were okay in the Winter, but have not visited them recently.

A visit to the Costco or the Seattle Premier Outlet Stores seemed to be very popular with the Canadian visitors.

Just don't go South, I-5 near Tacoma is a mess, traffic jam and accidents everyday until the construction is done ( in about a year or so ). For that reason I had not been to the golf courses South of Kent.

neither Loomis nor Semi drain well, but both are good courses.

 

So if you can get a rate equivalent to Fraserview or Riverway, then its probably worth playing since once across the border it's only 10 minutes to either course.

 

(North Bellingham is not a municipal course. Right now the greens are unusually good for that course; the fairways are wet & soggy.)

north bell usually drains best afaik of the courses just across the border but haven't been there in almost two years so not sure of current conditions.

 

I remember them doing cad at par as well a long time ago so there's a chance they still do that.
