Mountain Lake Golf Course - Information

Anyone here have experience playing or getting on at Mountain Lake near Orlando in Central Florida? Wondering the best way to go about getting a round at the course. I live in Orlando and the drive is not bad at all to play an old gem like this. Cheers!

do you belong to a private? you have to stay there to play; ask your pro to call them; it opens oct 1st and closes all summer

I am guessing Mission Inn or Alaqua Lakes exchange wouldn't be enough, no? So are you saying if I was to get invited as a guest I have to stay overnight?

You can try but my connection came from a national member at a "Raynor Reciprocal" and even that requires a stay and play. Well worth the price of admission.

It is quite the treat from the "historical golfer" prospective - really feels like a trip back in time when you head through the pretty non-descript entrance. I was fortunate enough to play shortly after they closed down for the season thanks to a local connection and enjoyed every minute.
