To DeNinny’s question, there are no updates to building of a course there. A caddy was telling us a story about the guy who owns 1/2 of Sheep Ranch with Keizer and doesn’t want to develop it.

When I was there Jan 2017 there were two shuttle bus drivers that were saying it was going to be turned into an official resort course. Freaking rumors.

Great pics. Much better day than we had in February.

 

Such a fun place. My group didn't get the full experience since the weather was pretty iffy. Nice to hear it's likely not going anywhere for the time being.

 

I heard the same line in 2017 that they were getting really close to developing it. Now it seems the chatter is all about another par 3 course below Preserve.

E green is the kind of place you build an entire course around.

 

I'm 50/50 on whether they should execute their stated plans to make a full course out of this place (as it's another killer piece of land) or leave it as it is.

 

OK, maybe I'm actually 30/70.....

 

Going to have to work this into plans for next year's trip.

Gorse in full bloom behind the 18th/"I" green. Was a blast to play the Sheep Ranch. Hope my fellow WRXers enjoyed the photos.

You are welcome! It was a labor of love as they say. Since it was my first time playing the Sheep Ranch, I wanted to document it for me as well :)
