Us kids golf

Ok I am upgrading my sons wedges and driver this year. We are going to stick with same irons but wanted to ad a 1/2 inch since I was regriping just in case he hits a growth spurt I don't have to do it then. What is the inside diameter if the us kids irons shaft so I can buy the extension.

I am not 100% for sure but i think they are .500 butt.

Any follow up on this? Looking to do the same. Bought the measurement tool from golf works and the smallest size is too big to fit in the butt

I ended up taking a 3/8 inch dowel put it in 3 inches with 1/2 sticking out. Wrapped it with tape to build it up to the same diameter as the shaft then put the grips on.

We have played 1 round and a few basement seasons and he likes them. Fits good.

I also got him a set of Cleveland RTX4 wedges with KBS jr shafts. He's hitting them ok now its time to figure out the distance on everything again. We haven't played much in the last few months because of football. And looks like rain in Georgia for the next foreseeable future ?

I'm also looking at the Cleveland wedge for my son. How old is your son, and how does he handle the weight difference from US KIDS?

Good plan and nice wedges. I tried the dowl thing on my daughters driver and she split the shaft in 4 holes. I must have boogered it.

The verdict is still out on how well he hits them we've only been out once. We are going to the practice area tomorrow then try to play Wednesday. If they seem over heavy I may have them ported to take a little weight off. If that don't work we'll just put them back until the next year.

My goal was to get wedges, driver 3 wood this year and next year irons. Try to split up some of the expenses haha.

Bait killer I am unsure if I did it correctly. I'm keeping a close eye on them when I put them back in his bag

Like I said the verdict is still out. We are going to practice alot today. And play tomorrow. I should have a better ideal on how well he does with them

Went and spent 2 hours at the practice area today and hit nothing but wedge shots. I have to say he will be ok after a few more practice seasons he'll be ok. Hit several with in a foot of the whole with all clubs.
