I’m almost positive this is legit, just a sanity check. Came in a shrink wrapped titleist box.

Doesn’t look good to me. Crappy photo angles, but I see like 3-4 things that give me pause. In fact, a quick scroll up makes me want to say 100% fake, even with the bad photo angles.

Btw, the plastic is a major reason for concern. I wouldn’t remove it, I’d start a return.

And there’s a bunch of fuzz in there from the head cover btw.

Yeah, if there's no vertical mill line (and it looks like there is not, see real putter photo below), it's probably fake. Who's the seller on Amazon? Link to the purchase page?

Interesting the price actually went down $20 since I bought it on Wednesday. Some random seller Emmit something, fulfilled by amazon

You should see how bad the bumpers look on this. Honestly, this example isn’t even a decent fake.

Yeah the bumpers and the whole thing definitely look off. The lack of vertical mill line on this model is just clear evidence.

Your putter you bought is a terrible fake. It’s a pretty obvious fake if you do a little searching for things to look for. Sorry for your luck on this one, I suggest posting this question before purchasing next time - hopefully you don’t get too much hassle recouping your money.

 

And, I hope this isn’t another probe into “how obvious is my obvious fake”. It seems like there’s a lot of garbage fakes being questioned lately on this forum, almost like a test to see if they’ll pass muster to sell on the wild west BST.

For example, compare the bumpers in the stock Google photo above, and your example

The Amazon listing where he bought the putter (if it is indeed the link he posted) shows stock photos of an actual, real putter. So he would not have been able to tell it was fake by the photos.

 

This is a bad look for Amazon, allowing this fake sellers.

 

If anything, buyers will be forced to just avoid Amazon when it comes to golf equipment.

I promise this isn’t a probe into trying to sell it. Already started the return on Amazon, also brought it into a Roger Dunn and easily confirmed that it’s fake by comparing to same model. Then I purchased a real one from them.

I think it’s extra telling that there’s fuzz from the head cover when it came shrink wrapped. If it was shrink wrapped from the factory then there wouldn’t be fuzz.

Also turns out the weights were wrong the for the length. 35”=10g weights, this had 15s. Guy at the golf store noticed that immediately.

Yeah, bad fake. Bumpers are incorrect for that model. Neck doesn't look right, not showing the milled detail either.
