Is this the future of golf and solution to slow play?

Ugh. The point is walking. If you want to have a fully automated push cart for your bag, fine. But the lack of walking **is** the problem. Not talking about necessary mobility assistance, either.

Do you know they have been out for years now without great acceptance?

I find the picture of the 2 golfers from the golfskatecaddy website kinda funny in that she is not going to her own ball. She is just sitting there watching him hit.

 

I did get the opportunity to rent one of the golf boards at Gamble Sands last year. I really enjoyed it, especially on that golf course because the fairways were just soooo smooth to ride on.

300 courses (and counting) have golfboards.

Not all courses are walkable and not all golfers can walk. The point is inclusion, not excluding people who don't play like you.

 

And BTW, millions of golfers would say the point is playing golf, not walking.

My point had to do that since 2013 in golfwrx there has been at least 8 threads talking about the golfboard. Even when it was a kickstarter project. That is why I am recommending the mods to merge this one into one of the old threads. If you feel so confident about this as part of the future of golf transportation, try calling the company and invest part of your 401k on it -diversification-
