This is a feature I would love to have implemented to GolfWRX.

 

It would be great to let the public know when you have found what you are looking for as to reduce the number of messages received.

I agree with you but I would bet 99% of posters wouldn't follow up and do it.

I would guess most members would rather make 1 quick update than respond to multiple messages regarding a response to the thread...but hard to say. I still think it's probably an easy update if they're willing to look in to it

Hit the flag button and then report and ask a mod to remove it when you no longer need the ad to be seen

Is this common practice? I feel like that might be a burden on the mods but if it's not that's a great idea

Yes it is common. It has always been the way they have been removed
