Push cart recommendation for mini staff bag?

Currently have a clicgear 3.5 push cart for my Callaway Epic Flash Mini Staff Bag and it's giving me alot of trouble. I purchased the tour bag kit, but the bag just falls off the side if i use that (the brackets rise and come off the top).

Thinking of potentially purchasing a new push cart, something more suitable? Any recommendations on how to fix my problem or suggestions for new push cart?

I bought mine when they were still the CaddyTek brand, but despite the name change this one looks identical to mine in almost every way. This will be my 3rd year having it and I have had no issues. Only complaint I could have was it wish it had a hand brake versus a foot brake down by the rear wheel but that is nit-picking.

I’ve used a staff bag on the bag boy quad xl and haven’t had issues.

When I first bought the tour bag kit, I was concerned that the top saddle arms would accidentally slide off of the brackets. But, I've never had it happen to me.

 

I would keep an eye out for the new Clicgear 4.0 that was just released in Canada. Apparently, the height of the upper arms is adjustable.

I have a Titleist mini-staff bag on my ClickGear and it works just fine. No issues with it falling off or being unstable - the whole setup is great and manageable.

if you push your bag (which I am sold on to save my back) I don’t know why you wouldn’t use a staff bag. Tons of room - easy to play out of - can pack what you need - super durable.

Way better than my Titleist carry bag - which I use primarily for traveling.

@HackDaddy360 Do you use the tour bag kit? If so, how do you avoid the brackets sliding off the top of the arms?

I don’t use any staff bag kit at all. It just fits on my 3.5 and doesn’t have a problem once I strap it down. Here’s a pic of the bag - it’s just a small Titleist Tour/cart bag. Had zero problems.

I actually have a harder time getting my wife’s Titleist stand bag to stay on her 3.5 than my Titleist bag.

Do you put the bag on with the ball pocket facing out? That might be your problem. I don’t need to access the one small pocket on the front of the bag nor the giant pocket frequently - side pockets work fine for all my gear/jackets.

Yes, that’s a love sign. And yes, my wife put it there. And no, I didn’t complain - because she encouraged me to finally get a staff(ish) bag and pushed me into playing again/supports all the golf I want to play. She gets her sign and I get to let my Dadness show just even in golf pictures ?
