Comparison Pics...

This thing looks great. I would write about it if I thought otherwise. I have not hit it yet but plan to over the weekend. Deep face looks good at setup. I added some comparison pics with the 905r and the tp superquad.

Headcover looks good also.

RA.....looks great. Tell Andy, David has done well with this one. Hope it performs as well as it looks. Your 905R looks real good too and I'm not a Titty guys at all (legs and a$$....LOL).

Like the 425 tp and the superquads. It all depends if you want to judge the "looks" as it lays on the ground or as you would hold it. The sole makes the face close counter clockwise as is rest on the ground. However if you hold it as you would to hit the ball it looks square all day.

I think that the 425TP was one of the best drivers ever made. If this looks/performs like the 425TP it will be bagged without hitting one shot. I am counting on all of the feedback we will receive from the great members here on golfwrx. I cann wait until the reviews start flowing in. Thanks for the great pics easyyy.

yeah they actually have two exotics drivers...one is a weird pentagonal shape...however in my mind it is much better than the regular cg2ish driver...more info on the driver...it has a magnesium crown and hosel, which gave them the ability to have a steel body and maintain the 460cc size. It's definetly the lowest spinning driver i've ever hit in my life. we were getting around 1,000 rpm on our trackman which is definetly not enough. The funny shape driver spins a little bit more but i would still classify it as a low spining high launch driver which is good for most people. we were getting around 2,600 rpm on the pentagonal. the pentagonal is not magnesium/titanium/steel it is all titanium....they are gonna go for 299.99 and the magnesium is gonna be 399.99

I gotta try these with the accra setup in the SQ- got a CB2 16.5 and am really impressed with everything about it: looks, feels, distance (almost too long at times) I think I hit a n exotics head at the pga expo but this looks different...

I have only one question about the 2008 drivers who has got them listed for ( international ) sale on-line, I know that the release date is Dec 5, however, I thought that pre-orders may have been excepted.
Unfortunately by the time they hit Aust which (wont be for many months)the price here will rise by apx. Aud $200.

Im not sure which one I am going to play to tell you the truth...well the thing is I just got on staff with Titleist...so unfortunately i dont think i am going to get the new driver...I would play the xld if i had to chose between the two.

Could anyone give us a review on the XCG yet? I hit the XLD at PGA Superstore the other day and it's a BOMBER. Knocked it past a G10 9* PL Red X and even further by my L4V X. Great thing was it launched lower trajectory/spin than both the others and had no real left bias at all- in fact less than the Ping and Cobra. If you can handle the 46" shaft, I'm not sure anything can keep up with the XLD- the smash factors were VERY high. Could the XCG be as good?

I took my L/H 10.5* reg shaft XLD down to the range yeterday, on opening the box and having a good long look at the club my immediate thought was fugly, only a mother could love it. The sound on impact is a bit like the hi-bore, but was not unexpectd due to the design.
The shaft is high launch by graphic design, as I hit a lowish ball with reg shafts I was pleased with the height I achieved distance on the fly was about 220m, 10m longer than my orignal exotics .
Using range balls and the limit of area of the range as it is fenced at 225m, distance of roll can't be judged.
The feel on impact is good and off centre hits are not punished, the grip is firm in the hand.
