Best Hybrid Stand/Cart Bag

I know that Sun Mountain had the Hybrid bag out awhile ago, but what is out there now that you guys like?

I am looking at the same and have narrowed down my options to the Sun Mountain 4.5LS - 14 (5.2 lbs) or the Ogio Convoy SE 14 (5.4 lbs). Both have the strap pass through and full length dividers. The Ping Hoofer 14 (5.5 lbs) has the strap pass through but is known for tangle issues, part of that being because they do not have full length dividers. Titleist have a Hybrid 14 (5.6 lbs) bag also which comes in a variety of decent colour combinations, this has the pass through but again not full length dividers (I think).

All except the Ogio come in non 14 divider options also if you prefer that.

I have an old Sun Mountain 4.5LS - 14 (2012 or so) and have been really happy with it so will likely stick with that. The colour combinations over the past few years have been pretty terrible in my opinion but this year the navy-stellar-rush looks a bit sharper/modern. I would be curious to read feedback from anyone using the Ogio bag, I'm not sure I've even handled one before in a shop?

Sun Mountain also have the C-130S (6.4 lbs) which is big and is only really an option if you don't plan on carrying on the course. Same applies to the Ogio Alpha Convoy 514RTC (6.8 lbs).

I have not tried very many, but I currently game a Wilson EXO that's a pretty good hybrid bag if you can deal with the 5-way top.

Just ordered a Nike Air Hybrid 14 way, but it wont ship for a few weeks. Will give some feedback when I get it. But if any others has one please share your feedback.

I have the bag but have only had the chance to take it to the range a few times before the Stay at Home order in IL. I love the bag and all the pockets/storage as well as the full length dividers so the grips never tangle. It does weigh a good amount but the straps are great at balancing the weight so it feels lighter than it actually is when you have both straps on.. the only complaint I have is where the putter well is in between the D and 3W. I have a mid mallet and it gets in the way of the handle if I don’t position it a certain way.

this is going to be my bag when I ride and go to the range as I have a SM 2.5+ when I walk.

Thanks mine shipped earlier then promised and I’ll have it on Saturday. Good to hear about the no tangles. I’m replacing a Hoofer, that I liked a lot, but the club tangle was driving me nuts. Last time I played I was fighting getting clubs in and out of the bag the whole round. I ride mainly and walk with a push cart, so no issues with weight.

I think I'm in the same boat, but also would love to know how these bags fit on a push cart. Anyone with experience on that?

For some reason I am really drawn to the looks and size of the Ogio, but I'm also replacing an old Nike SQ 14-way stand bag that has been really good to me for the past 10 years so there is familiarity there.

Is the putter well in the Nike hybrid up by the handle in the middle or at the bottom in the center? When I put any of my wedges in that bottom slot, they stick out a few inches. Plus, like you said, it makes it harder to grab the handle. This is my first Nike bag and I’m loving it. I walk. The weight isn’t an issue for me. Really well balanced.

My Nike Air Hybrid arrived today. I can already tell that I'm going to really like this bag. Its not much bigger if it is than the Hoofer. There seems to absolutely no club tangles (tilted on the stand or standing straight up). It stands up on it own in my office with no issue. Several bags I've had would fall over it not leaned in the corner (include the Hoofer). It has an extra zippered pocket on the front and an extra open pocket on the front as well. Basically all the pockets of the Hoofer and then 3 extra. I will miss the magnetic pocket on the Hoofer (easy tee access), but I'll manage.

It is not too heavy. Not a bag that I would walk 18 with, but I don't walk and carry anyway. The straps are comfortable, but I will on be carrying from my truck to the cart or my push cart when I do walk or at the range.

And it sits on the BagBoy Quad very nicely

Thanks for the photos and the quick review. Assume it will sit just as well on my bagboy nitron. Did the red zipper pulls come standard? I like the little pop of color.

Middle by the handle. I also have a 33” putter so it may sit higher with a longer putter.

Again, this is my first Nike bag, so I don't know where it's supposed to be, but when I put a wedge in that bottom middle slot that's only 1/2" longer than the ones next to it, it sticks out about 3-4" higher than the others. So I assumed the putter should go there, since it's the only club that fits. I also like how it keeps chatter down and the hc isn't in the way of the handle, which I use to pick up the bag countless times per round.
