One thing that is missing in the current online testing of gear from all the popular guys GWRX TXG MGS etc,etc,etc. Is the testing of the smaller brands/suppliers. With the OEMs it would be usefull to test:

Hogan

Wishon

Maltby/golfworks

Alpha

Herieko

Krank

And others I'm missing

But, I guess that's not the way it "works"

He sold his company to Diamond Golf a UK company that distributed his product in the UK and Europe. Tom still does the club designs though. Tom's relationship with Diamond Golf goes back to his Dynacraft days.

The only wood in my bag is a Callaway GBB Hawkeye 2 Wood (the one with the tungsten plug in the bottom). It's my driver and fairway wood all in one. It has the original Hawkeye UL shaft in it (Light Flex). I'd like to replace the shaft with something newer with similar characteristics. Since I have absolutely no idea what those characteristic are I thought I'd ask. Also is the shaft replacement given it's a bore through head a more of a challenge? No, I'm not doing the replacement myself. Hopefully someone at one of the PGA SS's in the area will have the necessary skills. I was just curious. Thanks.

I’m just rebuilding a set of 575 MMC 4-GW, my first set of Wishons. What I also really like about the Wishons is the additional hosel bore weights that can take up to 9g, along with a usual tip weight. This allows for doing custom length sets without the possible need of lead tape

I’ve said in some other threads recently. The two best feeling sets of irons I’ve had are Wishon 565’s and my current MP-18SC’s. Both sets were built by a club maker and not purchased built by OEM.

Wishon is as good or better than anything out there.
