Which irons should I choose?

Hey, I have a choice between maxfli revolution black, callaway big bertha 1994, ping isi (in graphite which I really like), taylormade burner supersteel, and ben hogan apex plus. I’m a 17 handicap with a bad back. All are in graphite except the hogans and maxfli’s. I have a slice I’d like to get rid of. Which irons should I choose?

Absent any consideration of what shafts are in these irons and how that matches to your swing speed and profile... I think you should be looking at the Callaway, Taylor Made or Ping. All are forgiving (more perimeter weighting) and have some offset to help with your slice.
IMO the best irons there are the Hogans. But those are blades with less offset, less perimeter weighting and thinner soles. You will know when you miss with these, and if you put in the practice time, get lessons, and do your own research (check out @MonteScheinblum content, for starters), you will get better.
But if you are just looking for a set to put in the bag for an occasional round, hit them better and increase your enjoyment of this game in the short run, you can't go wrong with any of the three I mentioned at first. The Callaways are probably the most forgiving. Hope this helps, and good luck!

With the more forgiving clubs, you'll lose less distance as you slice your ball into the trees. What are you playing now? What kind of clubs did you learn on?

Callaway big bertha 2004, but they were too chunky and no feel. The graphite has split.
