Myrtle beach recommendation

Going next week. Not looking to break the bank. Looking at the MBN west or south creek courses, or Arcadian shores. I am trying to keep it under 60$ a person. Any reviews or recommendations?

I played Arcadian Friday. It’s in excellent shape—tees, fairways, greens. Pace of play was excellent as well. I went to play at MBN-King’s North earlier that morning, and left because they were 30 minutes behind already at 8:09. Looking out over the complex, I had never seen so many people waiting to tee off, hitting balls at the range , and on the putting green. It was going to be 5-plus hour round, I’m sure. That’s when we called Arcadian and were able to get on within the hour. Rate was $60. Myrtlewood’s Palmetto course is also in great shape and priced right. Enjoy the golf and don’t forget to wear your face mask into the golf shop.

Heritage Club down in Pawleys was in the best shape I've ever seen it last week. Same with Prestwick. Myrtlewood Palmetto is looking good and in excellent shape since last year's renovation.

Some courses are aerifying later than they usually would this summer due to the pandemic. Also, the courses that did wall-to-wall overseed over the winter are really struggling at the moment. Be sure and call to make sure you don't get an unpleasant surprise.

Those courses are good choices, if you like what you see and the price. Summer has the lowest rates.

Wild Wing Avocet is better than MBN West/South at about the same price and WW will be less crowded.

Wild Wing + MW Palmetto single tee, so if you like to play early, you won't get hung up at the turn, like at double tee courses.

Legends is about $60 in the summer and you get Breakfast, Lunch and 2 beers/sodas.

Ask about green aeration at any of the courses.
