2020 PING bag

This is how the bag has looked since March. Probably the most consistent setup I've played. That being said I am due for a driver and FW fitting soon - So the top of the bag may change. There may be a TM Gapr LO going back in the bag at some point during winter. 

 

Driver: Ping G410 plus Evenflow black 75 x stiff (straightest driver I've ever played - but I feel like I've lost about 10 yards)

5 wood : Ping g410 plus - Tensei 70 x stiff (pretty spinny/ shaft a little light will probably be the first to go - TM 3 wood may go back in) 

Hybrid : Ping G410 19 - Tensei blue 90x stiff (love it - no complaints in the flat setting)

4i - Ping iBlade - Project x lz 6.5

5 - PW - PING blueprint Project x LZ 6.5 (probably my favorite iron I've ever played)

50/54/58* Ping glide forged weges - Project x LZ 6.0

Putter: Odyssey stroke lab 7 (I don't love the way it looks but it makes putts) 

Bag; Ping hoofer white/blk

Range finder : Leupold laser gx3i

Ball: Srixon Zstar

Shoes : Footjoy Tour SL 

Clothes: Whatever is on sale

Very nice setup. I love that you keep the plastic on your wedges to keep them looking nice. Does it effect feel at all? 😉

 

On a serious note, I really love the bag itself. Is that a Hoofer? Any chance you could post some more pics of it?

Ha I took pics of the bag when I first got it and I just got around to posting it.

The irons are great. It's a different feel for sure but I love the look. They even get that cool industrial look when they start to get a little worn in.

I got the hoofer on closeout at my local driving range. I think it's an older model 2017/18 year - I just preferred the color scheme. It's noticeably lighter than the Old Titleist players bag I had

Nice bag!  4 iron slot states iblade but pics looks i500.  Did you have to adjust lofts for any gapping issues?  I'm rebuilding my set going back to iblade 5-w.  But contemplating 4 iron slot.  Thanks.

I was tempted to go IBlade or wait till the replacement in the 4 iron(seems you have i500) but after hitting the Blueprint 4 iron, I as shocked it was so easy to hit so I just ordered 4-9 in Blueprints. 

 

Great setup; why do you feel the driver is short?

yea the pics are old. I originally ordered the i500 because I thought it would gap a little longer than the stock 4i. But I HATED the feel of that iron so I bought a used iblade 4iron. Feel is better. That i500 was possibly the worst feeling iron I have ever hit

Yeah I like the BP 4i fine too - but I ordered the i500 in the custom set and the iBlade was cheaper. iBlade also seems to peak higher.

It spins more for sure - it's visible in the flight. I like the flight - the ball doesn't want to shape as much but it does hang in the air a little. But the confidence I have with it is definitely an improvement. Typically I'm in the 290-310 distance. But I'll take 290 straight over 320 left anyway.
