Ping G410 or Titleist TSI ??

You didn't state LST and I poorly assumed you compared the plus head to tsi3......my bad

i just bought a titleist tsi2 off the bay with the lightweight fubaki shaft.  i've never bagged a titleist driver.

Buy a g410 lst head off BST for around 200.  Add a ventus for around 250.  Done!

Is that what you have brotha?  I just ordered four G425 woods to try out against my 410s.  I think they are gonna be sick this year.  Hard to believe.  410 is the best over all woods series made ever imo.  If titleist came out with matte black ping would be in trouble.  All else equal I take matte over shiny every time.

Yep, I love the 410 and ventus is awesome.  I'm still working on what weight to use as I'm playing it at 46.75.  Just not enough time to hit it yet

Yeah I have a ventus black 7x on order but they have been back ordered.  Going to try it.  I have been playing the hzrdus T1100 for a couple years.  I think the VB has a very similar balance point so should be able to plug and play.  I play mine at 46.0.  Curious what swing weight you are at with 46.75?.  I messed around with a heavier balance point shaft and took out too much sole weight because it was so low spin I couldnt control it.  But I already have bias hotmelt weighting low and forward.  Toe and heel. For some great sound....but that just means I need a little bit of CB in my shafts...

So mine is 6x but in blue.  I tend to launch it too low.  SW still to be done...

 

I saw JT trying out a red in his tsi3.

Awesome well post how it turns out.  Yeah JT has always played softer shafts in his driver not sure why.  He plays one of the stiffest shafts in his 5 wood still.  The one and only speeder tour spec 9.2x.  I have several TS 8.2x that I will keep forever.  In fact I have one in my 910fd 3 wood....so good still!

The 6x Blue is one that I want to try out this up coming year.  Will be starting the year with a 6X Black and 6X Tensei Orange Pro (ended year with a 7x TOP).

Hit them both last weekend (but with different shafts in them, so not like-for-like). Was really excited to hit the tsi3, given all the hype, but couldn’t do anything except hit low hooky pulls (not a shot I ever hit). Ping and sim I hit either side were fine (could do what I wanted with the ball). It was weird. Just goes to show that you need to try before you buy... I had the same experience with a cobra sz a year or so ago.
