Twillory Polo

I usually try every brand with my job being in apparel technologies, but I haven’t made it around to Twillory yet. I’m about to get a white polo to try out but curious if anyone else has tried this brand for polos. The positives to me (especially given that I’m an athletic build with bigger arms and chest with a smaller waist) is how these shirts appear to fit. 
 

Let me know your thoughts if you’ve tried one of their polos.

I love their dress shirts so I’m very interested in trying their polos also! Hoping someone can weigh in.

Ok guys, I got my Twillory polo shirts in for evaluation and I’ve got to say, I’m pretty disappointed. Let’s jump in:

 

FABRIC

This could be the most disappointing part of the polo. They used a standard mesh grid fabric that is usually used in the uniform industry as their fabric of choice. The pros to this fabric is that it is the best against picking (which the uniform industry obviously likes) and that’s about it. It is a heavy fabric that due to the nature of the fabrication doesn’t wick well and can often be hot. It also uses cheap polyester yarns that are low denier counts so the fabric has a rougher hand to it than jersey fabrications you would find mostly on the market today. I’m not sure who picks their fabrics, but I would find someone with more knowledge of fabrics to pick their next season’s choice. 
 

FIT

For me, this is where it shines. I have a bigger chest and arms with a smaller waist and the fit nails me perfectly. It shows off the things you want to show off while the fabrication is bulky enough to cover the things you don’t if you have a bigger belly. The polo is shorter and I believe meant to be worn untucked, so if you are a tuck the shirt in guy, this isn’t for you. 
 

Overall I give this polo a meh grade. I won’t wear it in the summer, but may be ok for a cool Fall/Spring day or just wearing around town. I couldn’t imagine how hot I would get in it in the summer time.
