Baby Goat w/ TPZOne35

A new born + COVID + work from home + not being able to play golf (because of the new born) required a side project to keep me occupied.

I wanted to create a unique putter so created this.

That looks great! So what did you use all together?

The putter head is made by this guy who calls himself The Putting Engineer.  He does limited production and can be found on instagram.  Mine is the Son of a Goat, which I started calling baby goat.   It's essentially a replica of Tiger's elder wand and I presume little adjustments were made.   It's essentially the Ping Anser design that is replicated by Scotty on their NP2 and by many other manufacturers.  I have a gray Scotty Pistolero plus grip on.  It's been an awesome putter and working well for me as I'm consistently having rounds with 29 putts.

Yeah I like mine for super fast greens, I need to extend my shaft a little though it was cut a hair shorter then I like lol

Did you order the shaft separately, and install yourself?

 

The combo looks amazing, and I’ve been considering putting that shaft on my Scotty Cameron California for a while now.

Yeah got the shaft separately and took it to my local club champion.  I played a regular steel putter shaft before installing TPZ and I can tell you the feel is night and day.  I admit that I had to have a few conversations in my head with my rational self to justify the cost but I’m glad I ultimately purchased it.  LAGP sells direct to consumer now so you can purchase the shaft from their site.  My suggestion.  Just do it.  Yolo. 😝
