Anything decent rangefinders for $100 or less???

I don't really want to spend much, because there are only a couple of courses that I occasionally play that are poorly marked.  I've never owned a rangefinder, but know that I don't need any bells and whistles....recommendations on a inexpensive/no frills one that works good would be appreciated...thank you in advance!!!

Do some searching in this forum.  There are some who have mentioned concerns about the lower-end rangefinders not having the accuracy of the higher ends ones.  I can't say for sure whether they are right or wrong, and whether the inaccuracy is enough to merit spending extra, but might be worth checking a few posts about that.

 

And if they are true, you might want to see if someone is refreshing their tools, and has an older one they are selling.

 

I still use my Bushnell 1500 from 12 years ago, and it's still as good as the day I bought it.

Most all the Rangefinders no matter the price will get the job done, spend a little more and get a precision Pro, Golf Buddy or Blue Tee or similar and they work great, don't overpay for the Big Brand name, the technology is basically a commodity that everyone has now. They all grab the flag easily without catching background and bounce the yardage back quickly. Good luck

A regular playing partner has one of the Amazon sub $100 range finders. Without fail his distance is within a yard of my 10 year old Leupold. I've read of people having different results, so your mileage may vary.

I got one from Aliexpress last year that has done the job admirably. Distance is spot on when compared to name brands, it has slope and flag finder and probably more stuff I haven’t used, uses ordinary batteries, and it cost all of $58.90 including shipping. No complaints whatsoever.
