It looks to me that the Ventus Velocore 6x is tipped 1 inch, notice the 7x has 4.5 inches from the tip to the end of the Taylormade adapter.  The 6x only has 3.5 inches to the end of the adapter.   I think I read on here that untipped Velocore is approximately 4 inches from the end of the E in Velocore to the raw end of the shaft if the shaft is untipped, the TM adapter probably adds .5 inches to that.

 

Thoughts?

I believe you, I was just trying to decipher the differences in the pictures.  I have seen OEMs tip shafts 1/2 inch standard when putting on their shaft adapters but who knows.

TM standard is to tip shafts 1 inch. Unless you request 1in soft.

Your build came in wrong SG if it’s 3.5” from the end of the TM tip to the 2nd “E” in Velocore. Throw up the the pic lining the tips for the 6/7x respectively and then it’s easily discernible for interested buyers.

Untipped velocore shaft with a Tm is always 4 1/2 to the “E”
