just because you choose to only make a handful doesn’t mean demand is that high 

 

I mean good for him but with Krew and Hudson and Artisan getting under 1k…1300 baseline to me is wild 

 

He has almost 60k followers on Instagram and one of the most engaging profiles from a putter maker as well. 

 

He has to close the books with his customs last year because he was so far behind and he didn't want to release sub par products for what people were paying. 

 

He's slowly increased his prices over time and the line just keeps getting longer and longer. 

 

Krew, Hudson and Artisan doesn't have the demand Jayme does. Artisan probably sells more but they have a full on shop to supply that demand vs a 1 man show.

im just pointing out I think some of these guys jumped the shark 

 

why can everyone destroy Lamb and Olson but I can’t point out 1300 for a base CMD is crazy (imo)

Well Olsen and Lamb don't exactly have a clean track record with their customers and followers. They have really rubbed an entire sector the wrong way. 

 

CMD (Jayme) is a really nice guy and does nice work for sure.  Some of his putters are really amazing.  I actually think his main game is the markers. He sells so many each drop.  The putters...I think they are to keep followers happy by releasing spots and not taking money on putters he can't finish in a timely manner. It's a very noble business move imo...

 

BUT!

 

I 100% agree with you in that his putters being $1100-1300 on the low end is absolutely ridiculous.  On one hand I am happy for the guy and wish him even more success truthfully.   I have been priced out from his work for a while now and I just don't think his stuff warrants the price tag right now.   It always leaves a bit of a sour taste when this happens, so I'll typically stop buying accessories as well. 

 

With that being said, I know for a fact those spots will be sold out immediately and he will continue pumping out his work. Good for him in the end. I am a drop in the bucket for his business.

I should also mention to this day I regret not buying his LH Clean collection in that rainbow PVD. Big regret there for me.
