Just found out about this from you.  Looks to be another CNC player but I like that he does pressed sightlines and takes creativity with inserts.  Not sure if he factors in how it affects CG etc.

I've been following his work from the start and he has some nice shapes and style to his work. It also has been improving from when he first started which is a good sign. I haven't tried one of his putters but plan to at some point, I know @5hort5tuff had a putter briefly from him, maybe he can chime in on the quality and feel a bit more.

I had a Laura made by Jayme about a year ago...I also have a divot tool and a new marker and headcover on the way as we speak.

In terms of the experience, I can almost guarantee you won't find a better communicating putter maker in the business. He is very thorough, very flexible, provides updates the whole way along the process, and finished the putter BEFORE the his time estimate.  This is nearly unheard of.  I hate missed timelines, but unfortunately this is the norm for boutique putter makers. Jayme is very honest with timelines.

In terms of quality...its top notch. He can adjust weights and necks to fit you easily, and has been doing more inlay work than nearly everyone else in the industry. He offers a number of fonts for script, and will hand stamp aswell.  Obviously, he offers less finishes and stamping than some, but thats also not uncommon.

For me, worth every penny if you find a model and headshape that works for you. Drop him a message, he is very helpful.  I will likely buy again from him along the way.

Thanks for the feedback. I just placed an order for a centre shaft putter will post some pics and feedback once I receive it. It's doing a couple of months though before i get the putter.

I've been kinda sketching a putter, haven't finished it just mental block and focusing on other things. Did did a Q&A on his Instagram the other day and lead time is at 18-24 weeks so I'm putting that putter on pause right now.

As I said before...look at his IG. His work is really great. If you like his head styles, stamping and finishes, you really can't go wrong. His work has been so solid of late, he is in higher demand and can charge more per putter than even 4 or 5 months ago. He has earned that.

If you are happy waiting up to 6 months for a custom, I say go for it!

Just thought I'd jump back in and revive a thread to get more input from others.

Picked this up a few months back, and even though I love the look and feel, I still haven't found the bottom of the cup as often as I'd like with it.

Something about it I just love, however.

Same, haha.

I figured there's be a few that saw this. Honestly, I wasn't too aware of his work before I saw it listed. A few photos and specs from Matt on here with his, so when I saw it, looked up the specs, I decided it was worth the try.

It's not as forgiving as the Sik mallet I game, but I love using it as a change of pace. Again, just having a time rolling them in as much as I wish I would lol.

I thought about reaching out to him about a different build as it seems he doesn't do a ton of quantities, but wanted to see if others had recent feedback about the process.

Yeah it's a cool putter but won't be as forgiving for sure.  His process is simple. When he releases word that he has some custom slots available, sign up! I think he recently said he would be doing it lottery style because there is more interest than he can keep up with.   I believe customs will start at 1k?  Regardless, I commend him for not taking orders and money from people knowing he wont finish it for a year. He books what he thinks he can finish in a reasonable amount of time.

Jayme is a great guy for sure.  Hes a good communicator and easy to work with.  1k for a custom is a bit much IMO, but people will line up and pay to have it done from him.  Always good to see him doing well.

That's nice to hear he does that for customers and doesn't expect them to pay and have a prolonged wait.

I don't know if I'd drop $1,000 on another one. I got this one for a steal comparatively, but I'll keep my eyes peeled for future drops. I've seen a number of them, but it's just been for his smaller items recently.

Meanwhile, I removed the paint fill today and like it much better. With it being a simplistic and machined look, welded top sightline, and inevitably some patina, it looks more fitting to me.

Sorry to post this because I’m probably an a-hole..CMD seems like a good guy

he is advertising 1-2 custom spots per month starting in March..he does nice work

but just posted on average his SS builds are 1,300

are you serious?!? 1,300 (for standard build) for a Coggin?!?

these guys have jumped the shark

I'm not sure where you got those figures from unless you talked with Jayme recently. If you did, hopefully he updates everyone else on the newsletter emails he sends because the one from a few weeks ago stated:

"In regards to custom putter orders. I am moving to a monthly drop model, where I open a limited amount of spots at the first of every month. A small and limited amount will allow me to complete those builds that month."

It's vague, but it doesn't say only one or two.

Also, I've never seen where he's mentioned a base $1,300 build. Again, on his site it just says that the $100 deposit will go towards the build, but no minimum is listed.

I, of course, don't know the true answers and can only speculate off what he sent out... but the majority of his previous putters he has listed have been sub $1,000 with a few exceptions.

My carbon Skyler Mid was only $700, and I think that was a value. If his prices have gone up, I wouldn't necessarily be surprised, but hopefully not to that amount.

Well, there you go lol.  I don't have social media, so outside of his emails, that's the only traffic I see. Interesting enough though. Really wasn't expecting that.. I was hoping to get a new build from him for the next drop, but I'll have to reach out before trying to place a deposit if these are going to be the new prices. Thanks for sharing 👍

I think it’s ridiculous

With Scottie Scheffler getting a lot of attention for his Logan Olson, maybe the demand for a custom build has gone up?

Jayme is also just a good genuine guy, and has been amazing to communicate with when I've reached out for a few things. The Skyler I have is a great feeling and looking putter too, so I'll continue to support him and his endeavors regardless. Maybe those estimates will end up being a bit lower when an order is placed. Who knows.

His demand is high right now, he has a shop/distributor in Japan. Any maker gets to that point their demand will explode and prices sadly go up.

Good for him honestly, I remember finding his account when putters were $300.

I'll chat with Jayme every now and then, super nice guy, wish him the best. I'll cherish my custom from him but don't think another is in the cards for me.

Is his demand high? How many people know he exists lol

just because you choose to only make a handful doesn’t mean demand is that high

I mean good for him but with Krew and Hudson and Artisan getting under 1k…1300 baseline to me is wild
