Anybody checked out the 2022 version of the Mizuno BR-D4?

I'm looking for a new bag, and one that's really caught my eye is this one from Mizuno -- the new version of the BR-D4. I've been trying to check it out in person in golf stores the last couple of weeks, but no place seems to have it yet. 

 

There are a few things about it that stand out to me as really appealing: 

 

-- The black on black colorway. I prefer very minimal branding, and while the Mizuno logo is still there, it's not as in-your-face. 

 

-- Tons of tons of pockets without becoming an enormous bags. In particular, I like that there's a magnetic rangefinder pocket AND a small zip pocket (I'd use it for tees) above the bigger ball pocket. Looks like the diagonal zipper above the left side pocket would be a good spot to keep random little things like my club tool, and the extra zipper under the valuables pocket on the right might be great for a scorecard. 

 

-- Good spots for gloves, with several velcro spots on the bag, The little mesh pocket under the handle is a nice touch, too. 

 

I'd love to hear some observations and reviews from anyone who is using this bag, or who has just had a chance to check it out in person!

saw one in the shop last week. great looking bag with lots of features like velcro for your glove.

I haven't gamed it but it looks great in the store. Looks to be on par with hoofer/flextech. If I was looking for more of a full size waling bag I would probably get one, but my Hoofer is doing well after 4 years. Mizuno bag design has been great lately. Except for the new K1LO, which looked much better the prior release.

Here's a version, maybe last year's, on a Mizuno Outlet site. Is this legitimately a Mizuno website? Seems pretty similar to the current bags that cost more than double this price. It looks like the Mizuno site, but the implementation, at least on my broswer is on the crude side.

The website you referenced is not a legit site and not authorized to sell Mizuno product.  We would recommend only purchasing directly on mizunousa.com or thru an authorized dealer in your area.
