Soles coming off - Warranty covered?

Hi all

Was playing golf yesterday wearing the Tour Metal. Half way through, realised that the soles of my Tour Metal are coming off. Just like to know anyone has similiar experience and what will Adidas do if I report to them?

Any input is much appreciated.

Try emailing TM/Adidas or contact the place you bought them from. I've had great results with just taking back myfaulty shoes to the stores I've purchased them from.

Ouch my sympathy to you, nice new shoe falling to pieces. Hope the store or OEM will replace them.

We dont have the same luxury here, the nearest shop is in another country. Had a cheapy second pair of shoes (but strangely as comfortable as my Nikes) coming unglued, took them to a local cobbler, not only did he just re-glue them, he stitched the whole upper to the sole. There is no way those puppies will ever come apart again. It now looks like the stitching was original and leaves you wondering why the OEM didnt do it in the first place (well not really! I know they do it on purpose to save money in the manufacturing process). Not the same retail opportunities out here, but at least old school craftsmanship is still alive and well

I Had a pair of 360's that had the same issue but with the back of the sole, they where just over a year old so i thought i had no chance.
I did not even have the recipt but took them back to the shop i got them from and they swaped them for a new pair no questions asked :yes:

My old white ones did the same thing.
I just bought new ones from Golf Smith when they were $99 a pair.
Great pair of shoes.

I had a pair of Tour 360's for about a year and the sole was starting to separate on one. They have a 2 year waterproof warranty, and the retailer just replaced them. If you go to any authorized retailer that sells them, they should be able to send them to Adidas for replacement and possibly give you a replacement on the spot.

If you like the shoes and don't want to hassle with trying to warranty them, a little rubber cement will fix that. You can get it at any shoe repair shop for about $5. Just squirt it in, wipe of the excess, and clamp the pieces together until it dries.

But if they are still under warranty, it looks like a legit claim to me. Send 'em in and maybe you will get a new pair.

I had this happen to a pair that I owned for less then 2 months, just took them back to Golf Galaxy and walked out with a new pair. No problem

Hi all

Thanks for all the replies.

I have emailed Adidas Golf and waiting for their reply. I am from Singapore and I bought these shoes from Taylor Made shop about 1 year plus ago. Not very sure how the warranty or customer service works here but have a feeling that they are not as good as in US.

Last resort, I will call TM and see what they say.

Has this exact same problem with a 6 month old set of adidas tour shoes. In fact they came off so badly during a round, I had to tie some string across the front to stop them flapping about.

The worst thing is I had my old pair of adidas for five years and they are still and pretty good condition, with no such problems. Trying to sort the issue out now but no longer have the sales receipt which is unfortunate.

Even though I cannot comment on the Tour Metal golf shoes I can comment that I had a pair of Adidas A3 Cubed golf shoes. I saw the part that fell apart on your shoes and the same thing happened to mine, as well as the actual sole fell off of the upper. They never got replaced and I vow to never...everrrrr wear Adidas shoes again.

P.S. I think it's part of the reason that I won't buy Taylormade/Adidas equipment.

I am not sure how Adidas golf warranties work, but as far as my experience with Adidas running shoes, you should have no problems. I bought a pair of Adidas running shoes in Colorado at an Adidas outlet. I live in Texas, so returning them to the original store is a no-go as was returning to another Adidas outlet, which I think the closest is 200 miles away.

Anyways, I called up Adidas and told them what had happened to the shoes after only 4 months. They said send them in and go onto the Adidas website and pick out a new pair. I did and picked up the shipping to Adidas, and had a brand new pair back in about 1-2 weeks. I will [b]ONLY[/b] buy Adidas running shoes now. That said, I have no experience with Adidas golf shoes, and love my FJ Classics (who also have great customer service).
