So, the catch by Franco looks legit?  The fact that this was never made public is fascinating, you'd think NFL films would have shown it years ago.

Film came out Dec 6,2021.   Yeah Tatum should have let frenchy catch the ball and game over.  
 

best shot I’ve seen of Franco catching the ball is this film starting around the 2:00 mark.

It was a freak play, Franco probably didn't know if he really caught it or not.  Tatum just reacted, Franco snagged the ball out of instinct, Bradshaw was lucky to even get the pass off.  With modern tech there might not have been enough evidence to overturn the call, but there are more camera angles now.   Legendary play, it will live forever when people talk about classic games.  

 

I honestly liked sports better before instant replay, it was part of the fun not knowing, or knowing it was blown.  the fun has been largely taken out of the game.
