First Time WITB

Been a long term lurker, recent poster and today will finally post a WITB. The downside of this commitment is 2020-2021 showed me I have a problem with buying golf clubs and keeping this accurate would be a full time

job haha. I found comfort in going through others WITB knowing I’m not alone. I have bit of the Dustin Johnson problem, I have stuff I always go back to but just need a different look sometimes to truly appreciate the things that work for me.
 

Current WITB.

Driver-

Ping G425 LST. This is brand new and hasn’t been for a spin yet on the course but showed great dispersion numbers in my fitting. For the last 6 months I have been playing the Max LS and enjoyed it(Still waiting in the wings for the ping to have an off couple days). I played the OG Sim for 2-3 years before that and didn’t think anything would ever get it out of the bag. 
 

2 hybrid- Callaway Super Hybrid 16 degrees of loft. This has currently moved the 300 mini to the bench because it checks all the boxes. 
 

3-4 hybrid- Callaway Super Hybrid 20 degree 

 

4-PW- Callaway Apex Pro 21 MMT 105TX. I have been playing the C Taper Lite 115x all year but had to try to the MMT. I love the added swingweight feel vs C Taper and being 100 percent honest that black shaft looks cool :). Performance has been very similar. 
 

Wedges- 

46 degree- Mizuno Copper (Exchanges with set wedge) 

50 degree- Mizuno Copper 

55 degree- PM Grind 2019

59 degree- PM Grind 

 

Putter- Scotty Cameron California Sonoma. 

 

In the rotation but currently on the bench-

 

-Max LS- AD TP- 7TX 9 degree.

-300 Mini- Aldila Rigue White 70x 

-M3 3 wood- Aldila Rogue White 70x

-Scotty Cameron Newport Pro Platinum: played with it for 15 years before my recent hoeing started in the last 2 years.

- Taylormade Bandon 1

Thanks, I really appreciate it. The carry and total distance gapping is right at 15-20 yards on solid strikes. The 4 iron was actually a new addition. I played blades previously(P7MB) and the 4 iron was a no go haha. These apex pro’s are just so easy to launch and have great forgiveness. 

 

Avg off the ground-

16 hybrid carry 235-240 and rolls out around 250-255. 
20 hybrid carry 225-230 and rolls out around 230-235 
4 iron carry is 210 Total 215. 
 

Being a high spin player these hybrids put me in a great window and actually added a little distance and a ton of consistency vs their fairway wood counterparts 16/20.5 . The heavier weight and shorter length shaft of these hybrids just works for me.
