Ordered 223s 6-G and 225s 4,5 all with Project X LZ blackout shafts.  Order placed 4/8.  They have finally shipped.  At one point the grip was apparently holding up the order.  I inquired as to where things were at and changed the grip to ungripped with whatever grip was in stock.  It still took a little while longer after that.  Ordered through discount dan's

Update on my 5/4 order (10 weeks so far). Was expecting them this week when shop called and told me Mizuno doesn’t even have the heads (223s). Next batch will be in August and I’m not convinced I’ll even be apart of that group. I know they’re just golf clubs but I’m over the supply chain headaches. I’ve been playing 23 year old MP14s and I’m ready for an upgrade!

Just heard from the local Club Champion.  My irons are arriving tomorrow or Friday.  Have a session set up for Saturday to calibrate the lie and gaps between the PW and the remaining wedges.

 

225/223 combo set, NPM 120X shafts and Iomic grips.

Called Mizuno this morning. Said they are completing orders placed on 5/16. Unfortunately, my order was 5/23 and he confirmed that the 223 heads are back ordered until August 1st.

My 223 order was 5/4. If they are up to 5/16 it’s other heads. I think realistically it’ll be 14 weeks

I might have missed it somewhere in all theses pages but for those of you that have received your irons, how has the quality control been?  Mainly curious about loft and lie.

Who notified you of shipment? Just wondering because I have had zero info on my clubs.

Received my 223's 7/14/22.  Ordered 5/2/22.  Added 16yds to my 7i carry, though it is 2 degrees stronger 🙂   Love the feel, worth the wait!

I'm concerned my PW is off.  Currently have about a 30 yd gap between PW and GW.  Need some more shot data to see.  The rest seem just fine.

I'm still waiting on mine but quite a few people have said their specs were off (not sure if this thread or the main iron thread) so I would get them checked. I'm getting mine checked upon receiving them.

Yeah, unfortunately I live in the middle of no where and the dealer I ordered them from is ~6 hours away.  Plan to get them checked next time I'm over there.

My JPX921 Hot Metal Pros were ordered on May 11, and they were shipped from Mizuno on July 11.  KBS Tour Stiff shafts and Golf Pride Z Cord grips.  Two months to the day.

Got news from GG they're shipped and will be out for delivery 7/19!! Essentially 8 weeks to day they were ordered.

Ordered 225's - PX LZ and Craft V1 putter on 2/28

Irons arrived 4/28 and I was just charged for my putter so it'll arrive @ 7/19

When I ordered they said roughly 8 weeks for the irons - and they were right on. Lies, lofts, grips on all spec.

They never mentioned the putter delay, had to call 3 months in and it was because of the KBS shortage

My watch is over. Ordered 223s with Project X 6.0 on 5/2, arrived on 7/14. I originally ordered them with MCC grips uninstalled through golf galaxy but told them to put whatever grips they have in stock come build time so there wouldn’t be more of a delay. Came with some Winn DriTac wrap but was gonna put Lamkin UTX grips anyways. 
 

Got worried because I called sometime mid June and they mentioned 8-PW heads were on back order.  Called Mizuno 7/5 and they’d gotten some heads in and told they should be able to get mine done. Called again on 7/13 to check and to my excitement was told they shipped out 7/12.

Brought mine to my club builder and he said a couple of them were slightly off on loft and lie. Nothing egregious though or crazy off. But slightly off nonetheless. But damn are they pretty. Lol

Ordered a set of 225s with UST recoil shafts on 7/2. After reading this thread it looks as if it will be another six weeks or so before they arrive. I was a little surprised reading that some of the specs such as lofts were a little off, I guess I'll have the vendor check them when they arrive.

I don’t think that’s exclusive to Mizuno. If you ever catch the episode of ‘Undercover Boss’ where they feature  Taylormade… You wouldn’t be surprised that some specs are slightly askew. Let’s just say it’s not highly trained craftsmen putting together these clubs.

I took them to the range today (toptracer enabled) and had a hit while my daughter was at First Tee. Well struck shots they are sublime. Nice, flight, straight when I want, draw to the left on command. Just what I need. I'm blocking out to the right on mishits -- but that's been a recurring problem this season for me not the club's fault. Groupings are good for the first day out with them. L/R dispersion is minimal, and length is just a touch off when hit out on the toe. 5i is a solid 180 - 185, 7 gets 155 - 160, and 9 is good for 130 or so. Mis hits cause a bit of sting as they should with a club like this, so plenty of feedback in the clubs, even with graphite shafts.

 

All in all, a happy purchase.

I had been in communication with discount dan's about the status and received an email from them with tracking once they shipped.

I ordered the Pro 225 4-GW, with Nippon Modus Tour 105 regular flex, standard L/L/L on 5/12, and they were delivered yesterday - so just a few days longer than the estimated 8 week delivery time. That seems to be the trend right now.

Finally got the shipping info from GG. Date of delivery will be 7/25. Ended up being a 8-9 week wait from order to delivery. Keep you guys posted!

Ordered MP 223s w/ TT Dynamic Gold 120 s300 on 6/5. Carls Golfland just quoted 8 weeks last time I called. Hoping the stock issues w/ the DG isn’t going to push this order past the 8 week mark… fingers crossed.
