Mizuno wait time?

So an update to my update. Clubs arrived today!! Incredible. Grips look great. Correct shaft and the lies look good as well. Great job Mizuno!

Just ordered a set of 223 through Discount Dans.  I called Mizuno to check on estimated lead time and they said 1-2 weeks for custom iron sets with no delay on heads but shafts are a different story. KBS 130X are in stock lucky for me. He said Modus 120X are Feb 2023!

Oh interesting. I thought most of the shaft shortages were easing up. I’m coming up on 4 weeks since my order of 225s with Modus 105 S and still haven’t heard anything. I wonder if the shafts are what’s delaying my order…

That's strange - see my recent post - I also ordered 225s with Modus 105S, and they came in 15 days, which included a trip from Mizuno in GA, to Discount Dan's in OR, and back to TN.

Yeah might want to call. He said he was reading off a list that they just got today. Not sure if the scope of the back order was all modus or just 120X.

Alright well that kills that theory of mine. I know my fitter is also building my clubs so I’m not sure if that adds or removes any delay? I guess I’ll reach out tomorrow.

 

I feel bad nagging my fitter after they’ve explicitly said in every email not to inquire and to expect delays (which I’m sure was put in there at the start of the pandemic and hasn’t been updated since).

With most of the OEM'si the X Flex, X100 etc shafts are the ones that are still having issues.  Most Stiff and "normal" weighted shafts are in good supply from Mizuno and others.  I have recived modus 105, SteelFiber, Recoil, AMT among others all in very short dleivery time from multiple OEM's

Yikes. I’m glad I submitted my 225/Modus 120x order when I did. I just got them last week.

I did post earlier that it will take total 6 weeks to get the clubs...

 

Well I was pleasantly surprised when the local rep sent me email during the weekend stating that my clubs are already here.

He will sent them to me as soon as possible.

So order date was 29th of September and 14th of October was the delivery date to the Rep.

About 2 weeks...

Ordered 225 on 10/4.  Despite the rep shipping them to two wrong golf courses the past two weeks, they arrived today.  17 days

Ordered a set of JPX 923 HMP on 10/12 through DD and they were delivered today. A week and a half turnaround time really had me surprised

I am in Australia but I ordered a set of Titleist T200's with Project X 6.5's at the end of July. The latest update I was given was end of November and they are waiting on shafts... I know this is a Mizuno thread and I am in Australia but I have been checking everywhere for any info on shaft delays because waiting almost 4 months when supposedly the components shortages were easing just does not feel good.

I ordered 221/223 combo set about a month ago and I've had them for almost 2weeks already

Ordered combo set of JPX 923 HMP with a couple of the FliHi hybrids on Black Friday, standard L/L/L, Recoil ESX F3 shafts, Golfpride CP2 wrap Jumbo, logo down.

 

Got the hybrids today, about 12 days from order. Hopefully the irons are inbound next day or two.

Thanks, I ordered a couple T22’s with grips loose. So hopefully they’ll be along before Christmas

Kinda thought the irons would be right behind the hybrids, but so far no show.

 

Since they are “custom” instead of off the rack, (nothing really custom, just a different grip choice), they ship directly from Mizuno, with no shipping notifications or tracking numbers available.

 

Called Carl’s yesterday to try to find out something, CS rep said they’ll contact Mizuno on Monday to get an update.

 

Anyone else have their order ship at different times/different boxes?

Called Carl’s this morning, irons still haven’t arrived.

 

Turns out the shafts (Recoil ESX 460 F3) are back ordered, so 1-2 more weeks before they ship.

Got an update today, irons shipped, arriving Dec 27, about 1 month from order date

Ordered a set of HMPs through Discount Dans on 28 December. Hopefully they have the Project X LZ 5.5 in stock. Ordered lie 1 Up and Z-Grip Cord logo down. Anyone know if the Mizuno icon ferrules are still available? They are on my order but no idea if they will show up!

Clarification

Delayed a bit because the Recoil shafts were back ordered.

Ordered a custom Jpx 923 FliHi 5 hybrid on January 16th and it is arriving tomorrow January 27th.  Mizuno is getting closer and closer to prepandemic delivery times.

I always order through Manhattan Golf USA and they told me 2 weeks.  It was just under.  Now Mizuno needs to get back to 4-5 days!
