Day 1 SL2 issues….

Play sad trombone music, zipper came apart on the third hole today. Just got it in the mail today too…

they look great but are made terrible........ I have 3 other friends at my club and they all have had a bad experience as well which is disappointing based on the price

Actually kind of surprising cause it feels high quality. Nothing about the bag made me feel like it wouldn't last. Replacement is on the way guess ill just ride it till it falls apart on me then switch to something else. 

 

Really need vessel to step up their color game, pretty boring on what colorways they have been putting out. At least stitch gets creative with the colors.

I've been walking with my SL2 for 6 months now without any issues.  I like the weight, the way it carries, the looks, and the room for clubs.  My only complaint is that the pockets are tight-- maybe filling the pockets too full contributed to the zipper issue above?

Yeah I noticed that off the bat that the pockets are tight.

Great Style, very poor quality. Not worth the $$.

 

Best news about the poor quality, is they normally replace the bag, no questions asked

Replacement in hand, no issues so far after 18.

Have a SL1 and one of the skinny metal arms that attach to the legs snapped making the stand no longer function.  Because it had been over a year they said I'm SOL.  I was always gentle with it so pretty disappointing.

They r cheap looking and cheaply made but over priced so u got that going for u 🙂

I've fondeled a few and don't appear to be cheaply made. Fabric seems nice and and not a bad deal if you grab one during the 40% off sales.  Is it more an issue of just using crappy zippers?

I know a lot of people using these and haven't heard complaints about durability. 

 

I have heard complaints that they're fashion over function (which you can tell before buying them just based on their specs). For their size they're too heavy, don't have many pockets/pocket space, and no bells or whistles to speak of. But they do look good.

I bought it for its looks, but yeah got some pocket space issues on it.

My SL1 lasted 500 rounds. about 5 years.  Zippers eventually gave up.  I was happy with it.

year plus down the road and the replacement i received is still going strong.

Yea, it was never the brands fault. Just the zipper head jumped. I've had that happen with jackets and jansport backpacks.

You're right, the zipper was a design flaw, the pocket was too tight and bound to be overstuffed.

 

The initials badge falling off in 2 weeks, the hole in the side of the bag from friction while walking (after about 30 rounds) and the liners of the pockets ripping out so all my balls, tees, gloves, etc made it to the bottom of my bag....that was the brands fault.

Sounds like you need a bag with bigger pockets for your over stuffing 😉

Ironically I never had an issue with the zippers.

And like benton, his replacement stich is holding up strong. Did you reach out for a replacement on yours?

Material is great though it can scratch easily.  Never had issues with zippers, but the pockets are small without much give so can see how if you overstuff a pocket you could have issues.  My main issues have been with the stand legs not opening up consistently and all the way.

+1 on this. Just got rid of mine because of this exact issue

Honestly I really like the bag material is great, it looks killer and the color is awesome, I do wish it had a front ball pocket like the new version but oh well. I feel like the new ball pocket could solve a lot of the pocket issues people are having. I also think they upgraded the zippers on the newer model.

I got refunded by my club and they dealt with it.  Wasn't really interested in a replacement....."once bitten, twice shy"

I loved the bag and the material, plus it was expensive.  I was pretty bummed.  This was several years ago so I'm sure they got their act together by now.
